The aircraft displayed inside are all displayed in a creative manner. The displays, photos and history of aviation are all done in a logical and informative manner. The aircraft displayed outside are many and all very approacable and touchable.

Excellent Mars exhibit inside, about 20 planes outside, some you can go in, but make sure you do before it gets too hot. Would be nice if there were some benches by the entrance (in the shade) so when the museum opens late, you can rest. Volunteers are really enthusiastic - many of them flew what is here now.

This place had much more than I thought it would. They have quite a bit put into the building and several planes to look at out in the lot behind the building as well. Just a tip: Wait until the temperatures are resonable. We went on a 100 degree afternoon and really didn't get to spend as much time looking around outside at the planes as we would have liked to. It is educational, the staff is friendly, and at this time, they let active duty military in for free with your id. If you're in the area, it's worth a trip over to see.
