“No Mrs Howell or Gilligan”
Reviewed August 10, 2013

We took the tour on a busy Saturday morning Saw some whales ( at a distance ) and some Dolphins .Impressive .We were more impressed with the homes and boats we passed heading out to sea from the port .

The tour itself was a little lacking .The communication system was suspect at best .Although I am certain the skipper was offering insights into the behaviour of the animals I am equally certain that only those within the confines of the enclosure heard him .Frustrating .

The most entertaining aspect of the voyage was watching the poor sea sick schlepps attend the " head " only to be met by the stomach contents of the previous visitor .No one could figure out how to flush .

Nice voyage aside form the comm issues .

“Whale Watching”
Reviewed August 7, 2013

I have always been crazy about whales and dolphins. I couldn't wait to finally get to see a whale in the wild. It was a beautiful day with clear skies and calm water. We sow a couple of dolphins, some sea lions and 1 Blue Whale. He was asleep, but I didn't really care. He was so close you could almost touch him, then he swam right under the boat. The staff was funny, informative and very patient. August is apparently a slow season so I would suggest calling to see when the best time is to go.

“Fun Experience”
Reviewed July 24, 2013

The staff on this is fun and entertaining. We saw several things while out on the excursion and we had a blast. I would do it again. A good length out and worth the money.

“Great Family Fun!”
Reviewed July 23, 2013

We recently did the whale watching on a vacation to Newport Beach. It was a lot of fun. We were able to see a whale several times and plenty of dolphin. My only complaint is that the captain would not turn the boat. He had an idea of where the whale would surface but only kept the boat faced forward. We were towards the back and could not see very well.
