Description: Celebrating nearly 40 years, Muldoon’s is the real thing. A warm generous & friendly pub with fine pub food. Situated on the corner of Southern California’s #1 shopping - financial district Fashion Island - Newport Center, Muldoon’s is known for her two pubs, outdoor courtyard and cozy Dublin dining room filled with booths and a warm fireplace. Locals call Her their “neighborhood gem” in a neighborhood filled with excellent restaurants. But, there is only one Muldoon’s. Great for lunch, dinner, Sunday brunch and private events. Muldoon’s has a lively happy hour, live music - dancing on weekends. Celebrating St. Paddy’s Day is the best! Fit for foodies and those in the know of the greatest ales, lagers beers, mean cocktails and notable wine. Muldoon’s is the home of Sindi Rae’s Dark Chocolate Pudding when she’s in the kitchen! Her Awards: Best Pub in Southern California & the OC, Best Food, Best Burgers, Best Guinness, Best Irish Coffee & Best Staff!

Everytime I visit Newport Beach, I never leave without having lunch or dinner here. It is by far the best pub I've ever been to in CA, and certainly one of the best I've been to, period. It's extremely reasonable in price, the portions are large, the ambiance is dark and mellow and comfortable (and they have patio seating which is more bistro-like), and most of all, the quality of food is stellar! The Shepherd's Pie is incredible; the fish and chips are light and fluffy; the stew will make you think you're in Ireland; the bangers with mustard are the perfect appetizer; the apple pie a la mode with caramel sauce is divine. But my absolutely favorite part? The bread! They serve soda bread, which tastes similar to a scone. My only wish is that they would warm their butter - but other than that, I've never had a single complaint, only compliments. Also, there is often live music with great cover bands. The energy is always positive and lively. It's absolutely the perfect way to spend ANY evening, and we had a memorable New Year's Eve there.

I absolutely love Muldoon's. I've been going to Muldoon's since the day they opened and since they closed by beloved Bob Burn's in Fashion Island it has been my go to place for whiskey and beer.

The atmosphere feels like Dublin who doesn't love traditional Irish homemade potato & tortilla chips, homemade guacamole & salsa.... okay, so MAYBE they've adapted a few of the recipes for the Newport Beach crowd, but I am sure the Irish-whiskey-marinated wings would make an Irishman cry because after all, they are marinated in Irish whiskey.

They also have great entertainment with local bands and a happy hour that sucks in a lot of the Newport Center office workers along with the locals.

So if you have a hankering for Irish or English beers on tap, Muldoon's is a solid choice.

Not only great Irish food, but also real fresh turkey, from the bone. Great Irish bar, too, beautiful atmosphere.

Had lamb, which was very good. Nice atmosphere, good service, really enjoyed eating there. I'd go back with friends and family or just ourselves.

The variety is excellent. Their bread is marvelous. The best thing to me on the menu is the Irish stew.
