Really expected more from this stylish, waterfront restaurant in Newport Beach. The restaurant is right off PCH not far from Fashion Island. It has an upscale feel to it, casual but elegant interior. Menu is a total bust. Lunch featured common offerings of sliders, club sandwiches, chicken Caesar salad, etc. Lunch entrees included fish and chips, macaroni and cheese, and grilled salmon. Build-a-burger menu included a form where you could specify the type of burger (beef, chicken, veggie) with choices of cheese, condiments, toppings. Yawn. Nothing interesting or enticing on the menu. Decent wine list. My club sandwich was good, but not special and my husband's prime rib sandwich was nothing more than sliced beef with au jus. Didn't have the rich taste of prime rib; more like a typical French dip. My advice is have a cocktail in the bar, enjoy the view, and go elsewhere for food.
