Food, service and atmosphere are all great! Make sure you get the biscuits! :) lemon meringue pie is good too.

As you walk in you can't help buy be impressed by the layout. The kitchen is out there for all to see, has a seperate fresh Sushi bar, romantic outside dining and great bar. We preferred outside dining but we had made our reservations last minute so we dined inside. The wine list and menu had a lot to offer. We ordered the salmon (Simply Grilled) which was excellent, generous portions and came with seasonal vegetables. We started off with their homemade biscuits (offered in 2,4,or 6) and clam chowder. The soup had fresh bacon and croutons. With the rolls and soup, it was a meal in itself. The salmon was grilled perfectly and no bones to deal with. Dessert was a shared hot fudge sundae made with two large scoops of vanilla bean ice cream, fresh whipped cream, candied pecans and a gravy boat of hot fudge. This with a cup of fresh decafe coffee. Only thing we disliked was the noise level. This is not the place that you'd want to be if you are looking to have a conversation with anyone you're sitting across from because it's difficult to hear. Guess this is good reason to sit next to the person you'd like to have a conversation with. Service was great.
The food is exquisite. We chose to sit outdoors, which was so inviting. The service was implacably attentive. Polite and friendly. We chose fish dishes. Portions were more than adequate, and the presentation was ingenious.
Highly recommended.Make sure you make reservations in advance.
This place is your typical Newport Beach scene. Cougars on the prowl and some creepy old men. I was sitting with my fiance and his best friend and still this man kept eyeing me. Gross. The service was great and they had some real nice bottles of wine. Great place to people watch, saw lots of interesting things for a Wednesday happy hour (one girl get felt up by a man who she obviously didn't want it from, another woman pop out of her dress, and some fashion statements that probably shouldn't have been made). Also, I like the smell of cigars, but dang, on the patio it is just way too much smoke.
Bar and outside patio require long waits but they are worth it. Restaurant is ok but bar is much better.
