“Rerry gets you to Balboa Island”
Reviewed March 14, 2013

The ferry is a necessity but quite short. A little expensive. Like $5 per person. Takes 2 minutes to get to Balboa Island. but it was kind of cool.

“Fun little ferry!”
Reviewed March 11, 2013

For the price ($2/vehicle+$1/person) it is a fun little ride across the water! Definitely worth the time/money, and an easy way to explore the waterfront areas.

“Balboa Ferry an attraction in itself.”
Reviewed March 10, 2013

Visitors to the Newport Beach area of California should make a point of crossing the bay via the Balboa Ferry between Balboa Island and Balboa Peninsula. The ferry is steeped in history and save at least a half hour in touring the area. The crew is accommodating and the price is reasonable. A good view of the bay and historic Balboa Pavillion.

“Cute little trip”
Reviewed March 5, 2013

This was kind of unique. A little ferry that holds three cars takes you across to the island. The price is right and it was quite a nice little ride. I would recommend.

I'll tell ya, if you want to see the island without driving 45 min around the way and take a nice ride across the water for a few bucks....this is it!
