We had reservations in July for six, including two seniors. When we finally found the place, we couldn't get in. Apparently they had closed down the entire restaurant for a wedding. A wedding? What happened to letting people know you have cancelled their reservations? They had to have known days or weeks, maybe even months ahead that the restaurant would be closed that day for a wedding....they never called or emailed me. After reading the other poor reviews, I won't be giving them a second chance. Too many other great places in town to try!

Thank Debra S

Great view, good food for all members of the family. Just a short walk from our RV site. Entertainment is an added benefit but we usually dine on the patio.

Probably wouldn't come back here. The photos show a lovely place. First of all, its difficult to find. Its located in the RV park/Marina. The place is beautiful and overlooking the water, but, menu is meager, the food is ok, just ok. The service was good, however, it was my daughter's birthday and they did not do anything for her, not even a scoop of ice-cream. Our reservation was for 8 pm, and they closed the restaurant at 8pm. While we were waiting for the food, they were cleaning, clearing tables, shutting down the place. I might come back to try the Sunday brunch, but only if I'm in the area.

I've never not eaten a meal at a restaurant - so this was a first. We selected this restaurant for a nice/birthday meal. It's a beach shack - families with swimwear and no shoes. They had a large group which 'held up our order' for over an hour. Nothing was provided to comp for the wait. Pork chop was leathery, overdone - the tablespoon of applesauce couldn't revive it. Fish and chips and ravioli were fine - what you'd expect of a beach shack. The sole wasn't eaten. Mushy, cold, looked and tasted like a slab of undercooked, unidentifiable fish mass. There was a very loud carnival going on next door. Couldn't sit outside and be able to talk. We'd never go back and would never recommend....even if you're wearing your bathing suit.

As it's name implies, this restaurant overlooks the "back bay" section of Newport Beach Harbor. There is both indoor and outdoor seating, looking at a marina, boat launch and the protected nature preserve. Sunday brunch is a buffet, either with or without champagne/mimosas included. The buffet has a full array of breakfast and lunch items, including made to order omelets and unlimited seafood. Food is good and service is excellent. They don't hurry you and sitting outside watching the boats with a group is a great way to spend a couple of hours on a nice day....and save room for the dessert bar.
