We had a super dinner at Farm. The space is large, filled with light, and even when filled not noisy. Service well done, not pushy but moved along at a reasonable and enjoyable pace. Excellent wine list, many local wines from the valley, as well as an excellent selection - mostly reasonable in price - from further afield. Had a nice restrained but evolving pinot from anderson valley
I had the beets for a starter (ok, that's the main ingredient, but with crunchies, some leaves, some soft cheese, etc), it was a delectable medley of tastes that complemented perfectly cooked small beets. Lamb for dinner, 3 ways - tenderloin, sausage, and "bacon" which had a long cooked texture and an intense lamb flavor, along with a small amount of soft and tasty fat. The veggies with this were outstanding - lima beans and haricots verts. My wife started with the carrots - lovely - and the chicken was super moist, crunchy skin, and excellent veggies as well
For dessert, I the coconut and my wife the chocolate - ' nuf said, ethereal creations with complementing flavors and tastes - too challenging to remember all the pieces, but the gestalt was simply divine.
Well worth the trip slightly south of Napa. Consider, if you stay at the inn, the tasting menu with wine pairings -looked spectacular, but with a bit of a drive afterward, might be a challenge.
