...had breakfast...last ate here over 4 yrs ago...must have changed owners during that time...used to be a VERY popular place with everybody from retirees to families plus I'd see the CHP(Calif Highway Patrol) cars parked out front....no more. Used to be upbeat. Used to have great food. Used to have a friendly homey local feel to it...no more. Located in a sad 'strip mall' at the South end of Napa/several local businesses have closed over the past few yrs & storefronts remain empty. Has a 'south of the border' atmosphere now...food is no more than ok...had 2-2-2 special/2 eggs2pancakes2bacon...coffee ok...food seems to be low-average quality. Service was fine. We will not return.

Went to Emmy Lou's Diner last Saturday. It was close by and the prices were reasonable. I ordered the biscuits and gravy w/ 2 eggs over easy, coffee and a mimosa. The biscuits and gravy were good and the eggs were cooked to order. The food was a bit on the bland side and some salt and hot sauce were definitely necessary.

My mimosa was a bit odd; Served in a wine glass with a Maraschino cherry in it. It wasn't bad, just never have seen a presentation like that.

Coffee was ok, but the waitress never bothered to give me a refill. When my friend asked for one, her cup was filled but more wasn't offered to the rest of us. They were on the busy side though.

Overall, not the greatest breakfast experience, nor was it the worst. I'd probably dine there again if there weren't other options available.

Stopped in here based on locals' recommendations and glad we did. Good breakfast with a Mexican slant for a reasonable price. The value was unbeatable.

This "diner" has very good breakfast and is in a shopping center on Hwy 121. Very convenient. Good food, good service, easy in and out. Exterior looks like any other diner, but this one is very good.

This is a diner-style restaurant in a strip mall: breakfast and lunch only. Nothing fancy, but man. Good food. LOTS of regulars, so you know there is something going on here. Excellent Huevos Rancheros. My favorite, but I haven't ever had anything I didn't like there.
