Best Western Plus Elm House Inn

We booked at the last minute and got the last room in the hotel. My expectations were high being #1 rated hotel in Napa. The hotel did not disappoint with service you would expect from a 5 Star hotel. The rooms were clean with comfortable bed. The owner and his daughter along with another lady served the great continental breakfast which was much more than continental! The street it is located on was busy and a bit noisy but did not disturb our sleep. You get much more than you pay for at this family run Best Western. Thanks

I was a solo traveler without haveing any plan in Napa, but with their help, I enjoyed an excellent winery tour and had a wonerful Italian dinner in town.
They made me feel very at home:)

The room is clean and cozy and inn keepers are very warm and friendly.
They have a very pretty lounge where we can enjoy evening warm handmade cookies with hot/cold drinks and waffule for breakfast.

They are happy to help you arrange winery tours, restaurant reservation, or cab to the town center, if needed.

I would love to come back to stay with them again.

Room Tip: In winter, a room with a fireplace may be good for you.

Staying at The Best Western Elm House Inn in Sonoma was one of the best parts of a two week visit to California! Arriving late at night (with reservations), we were not impressed at first glance with what appears to be just a large older house. But when we were taken to our room,--wow!! Our room was behind the main building in a separate building overlooking the gardens. We had a private entrance up an outside staircase, and a small deck area with table and chairs. The room was very large, with an extra sink area, large closet area, desk in a window alcove, and generous seating of plush armchairs and even an upholstered ottoman! Comfy!. The coordinated bed linens and draperies were of highest quality. The bathroom was large, and the entire space was spotless!
There are a hidden garden and hot-tub in the courtyard, a beautiful common room in the main building, which had a roaring fire going at all times (Jan/Feb), and complementary tea/coffee/cocoa and freshly baked cookies offered by the friendly, helpful staff.
But there's more! This location includes breakfast with your stay. And what a breakfast!!- easily the best I've had anywhere!--freshly made baked goods, waffles made to order for you, all manner of cereals, fruits, yogurts, etc Attentive staff to clear dishes, and refill your cup. Tables with tablecloths, cloth napkins, and fine china. Fresh flowers at each table, and local newspapers available.
We will definitely stay here again!!!

We loved this place and will stay here the next time we go up to Napa. We had room 207 - which has a fireplace and a full sofa sectional, in addition to the big King bed. The room was well appointed and very large for the price! Our host was super nice at the front desk. It was our anniversary and he congratulated us when we arrived and when we left. The whole lobby / breakfast / sitting area was decorated so beautifully for Christmas (we went 12/27 - 12/29/13). There were figurines everywhere and it made it even warmer and inviting. Breakfast has a huge selection for a continental breakfast. You are about a 2 minute drive to downtown Napa and right across the freeway from the outlet stores.

Room Tip: As for room 207! Big with a fireplace!!!

Unpretentious but luxurious (not your father's Best Western) super friendly front desk man (more like a B&B host) very helpful. Big luxurious room at a good price. Would certainly go back. Breakfast callled continental but includes eggs, waffles (with bacon baked-in if you like) and all sorts of other yummy things.

We had low expectations booking a BW chain hotel, but this had such strong reviews we gave it a shot. Totally worth it. Staff exceedingly friendly and helpful. Helped us plan out our time in Napa. They cook fresh poached eggs and sweet potato belgian waffles in the morning. So good. I suppose the coffee could be better... maybe invest in a few french presses. Kelly was the bomb. Tom as well. Staff professional. It's not like a normal hotel. You really feel like family and it has more of a bed and breakfast feel. It's definitely an "inn" and not a "hotel"... that's a good thing for Napa in my book. I stay at tons of hotels for business and pleasure... do 80-100 nights a year. Definitely approve of this one.

You cannot stay at a nicer accommodations in the Napa area where you'll feel welcomed and at home. The innkeepers are very pleasant and the inn is a lovely place to relax during a stay in the wine country. The breakfast is outstanding!
