The hotel location is great as it is right off the highway and has easy access to head north into Napa or cut across and be in Sonoma. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The only two issues we had during our stay was that the room did not get very cold at night (we were on the north side if the hotel, but there was a heat wave going on) and the concierge lounge, while nice, was definitely understaffed for the morning rush. There were a lot of people in about 830 am and they ran out if everything and did not seem to be able to catch up. If you go, I'd recommend earlier in the morning.

This is a really lovely hotel, where me and my husband spent 2 nights whilst travelling California for our honeymoon. The rooms were very nice with everything that we needed. The hotel itself is large with lots of facilities, however as we were only in Napa for 1 full day and had booked to go on the wine train we did not explore the majority of these.

The hotel provides free wifi, however you do have the option to upgrade to faster connection for $4.95 if you wish. We did not take this option but found on our bill on the last day that we had been charged for it for both the days we were there. The receptionist took this straight off for us when we queried it so no drama but just one to watch.

On the day we arrived we had been travelling for some time and so decided to relax by the pool. The pool area was also clean.

The one off putting thing about this hotel was that while we were there, there were big corporate events taking place which seemed to take over a bit. In particular while we were relaxing around the pool a large group came out to the bar area by the pool and were doing some form of a quiz loudly over microphones.

This was the reason for this hotel getting a '4' rather than a '5' from me.

My daughter and I spent two nights at this hotel while touring wineries in Napa Valley. The location is great--right off of Route 29. The staff was friendly and professional. Our only restaurant experience was room service while watching the Chicago Blackhawks win the Stanley Cup. The food was very good. The only drawbacks: limited parking near the hotel lobby and a round-about way to get to our room. It appears this hotel has been added on during the years. Nevertheless, it was a very nice hotel and served our needs in every way. The concierge was very helpful with restaurant directions, too.

When I travel someplace for the first time, I often stay at a Marriott because you know what you are going to get. The Marriott napa did not disappoint. It is in a very central locale and the staff, particularly Blossom, were very nice and accommodating. In fact, due to an unforseen emergency they had let me reschedule our trip past the allowed last day for cancellations. The one thing I would add is that I think the hotel is in need of some cosmetic updates but overall a great hotel at a good rate in the heart of Napa Valley.

Room Tip: No real need to upgrade, the view is all pretty much the same I think

Stayed for 2 short days, and loved every second of it. The staff is friendly and helpful, the surroundings are beautiful and the wine is of course delicious. After a 2 week road trip we were super happy to find the guest laundry room. The lounge outside by the pool is very cosy with live music at night and the best part is the rooms. Huge room, big comfy bed, large bathroom and all the tv-channels you need. Internet is also free. Thank you for a great stay!

We stayed for the weekend in this Marriott Property. Upon arrival we were impressed. Very nice lobby and bar area. The check in staff was super. They were very courteous and helpful. We were in our room in no time. The concierge lounge is larger than normal and has a great selection of food for both breakfast and evening. One nice feature is the outside seating area on a cool morning. It is a courtyard with several tables. For you who like a good workout, the fitness center is top notch. Plenty of treadmills, bikes, elliptical's, free weights, and weight machines. There is also a very nice sidewalk system in Napa. If you take a left out of the property on a run, you can go for miles. We ran 6 miles one day and passed tons of vineyards along the way. Very nice way to enjoy a run and see the beauty of Napa vineyards and mountains in the background. We were in a suite which made this weekend very nice. There are several stores within less than a mile if you forgot something or want anything to eat. There is a Target across the highway. The hotel is very convenient to all of the vineyards. We will definitely stay here again when in Napa.

It is difficult to find a level 4 Marriott property to use for the comp nights your accrue... This was the choice we had... We spent the day at the spa at Solage in Calistoga, so we had already been spoiled with excellence... The hotel staff was very friendly... The room was very quiet, which was great... Everything else is crappy... This isn't their fault, but there was an issue with the water so all the water was brown/black on the day of arrival... The next morning, there was still a lovely gray hue...*sigh*... The TV doesn't have NBC, ABC or any regular channels... No idea why they aren't working... Concierge lounge- everything was sticky to the touch... Went to make tea, and the hot water was brown...before adding the tea...I passed... The rooms are dated and the carpet is well worn...the bedding and bed was comfy...There are such fantastic accommodations in the area... Next time I will save the comp nights for other needs... Disappointing intro to Napa...

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on you stay with us. I personally apologize that your stay with us coincided with a temporary Napa area water supply challenge. Please know that this did affect the entire Northern Napa area, as the city worked to correct a disruption in service at our natural reservoir supply from lake Hennessy. Within 24 hours, all services were returned to normal.
As a member of Marriott Rewards we sincerely appreciate the fact that you chose to use your hard earned points to stay with us. Have a wonderful summer and thank you.
