As we are Bay Area locals, finding a place in Napa can be a chore and many are just overrated. Surprisingly, when a Groupon for this hotel appeared in my inbox, I checked the location, but also went directly to the Best Western website. Lo and behold, the prices were the same at the BW website as the Groupon offer. We immediately booked ahead and thought we had to prepay, but in reality were not charged until we checked out. Despite a change in dates, the hotel offered the same rate a week later.

We were entertaining family from Europe (four adults in two adjoining rooms) and they were just thrilled with this site. A mid-week stay of course made for a very quiet and relaxing second floor environment. Breakfast is typical motel fare, but adequate.

Room Tip: Second floor seemed quieter, but the guy with the cigar and cigar smoke wafting up from the pool was...

Drove up here from the SF Bay Area to do wine tasting and then sleep it off. We checked into a first floor room in a bldg with two floors and the I could hear every step of the people above me and the shower/faucet sounded like it was in my room. Asked to switch to another room and we were put in the 2nd floor of the 3 story tower and this was even worse. I can't ever remember staying somewhere where the floor squeaked every time someone walked above you. I said screw it after 10 minutes and we drove back to SF and ate the room price.

Room Tip: Get a room on the top floor!

Very nice Hotel/Motel. Much better than other Best Westerns. They deserve their "Premier" status. The service was excellent. The only down side was overcooked eggs, and tasteless potatoes at breakfast.

We checked into the first room and found it was under construction. We were moved to a new room and the room should have been under construction! The wallpaper was peeling off, the folding door was unhinged and did not fit the frame. It obstructed the exit door from opening if it was open. When I did open the closet door, the ironing board came out and hit me on the head. No damage done as I am Irish. The bed was uncomfortable and a few other things as well. It was clean, however and the staff was great to work with. They have a nice pool and spa as well. This place needs some attention, but I am not sure it will come any time soon.

The hotel was adequit for a weekend in Napa to see a concert. Overall it was nice but the bed and pillows were not very good for a Best Western. Hope that changes because we go to Napa quite often. There was however a very good Mexican restaurant with bar right next door. The hot tub was a pleasure but there were not towels anywhere to be found. The hotel was very convenient to since it is just off Hwy. 29.

Staff was great. Rooms were clean and smelled great. Morning Breakfast was crowded with not much room to sit, you were pretty rushed! Check in staff was VERY good and VERY helpful. The restaurants near the hotel were walking distance and the food was great, Italian and Mexican restaurants.
