Reviewed October 30, 2013

The property was clean and there was complimentary breakfast and wine however for 350 per night, the rooms should've been newer and nicer.
The property looks a little tired and should have an upgrade especially considering all the newer hotels in the area that are less expensive.

Recently stayed at the Best Western Premier Ivy for 3 nights. I'll be up front in admitting I booked the stay on points so I can't comment specifically on the value, but we found the hotel to be a perfect spot from which to explore the valley. We were upgraded to a suite which was a nice surprise and our room was well-appointed and very clean. While you could tell that while the building itself is likely a little dated, they have made some nice upgrades so certainly no complaints on our part. The pool area was a nice bonus and a good spot to spend an hour or two in the afternoon sun. Staff was helpful and breakfast was reasonable considering it's a standard complimentary breakfast (reading some comments on Trip Advisor beforehand, I think some people's expectations are way out of whack). I'd definitely consider staying here again on a future trip.

The rooms were very clean, with big comfortable beds and a decent shower. Staff were friendly enough on arrival, though a request to organise a taxi seemed to be something of a minor burden (as regards the receptionist's attitude, the car itself was fine).

The pool was nice, and a good place to chill out after a busy day out and about in the Napa Valley, for which this location is perfect.

The big problem we had was road noise. Rooms towards the reception end of the building can hear the road. I suspect towards the rear of the property that this is not a problem.

The facility overall was nice and the room good for the price in Napa. Room was clean and in good condition. I thought the breakfast could be better on account of the fake eggs and weak coffee. Noise from the highway could be heard in the room in the early morning. The staff was nice and helpful. Overall we were satisfied.

The mixed reviews here had us nervous, but given no other options due to a last minute trip we decided to go for it. Arrived around noon for a 3pm check-in, room was ready, staff was very helpful, provided maps of the area, restaurant recommendations, and directions. Prices are high for a BW, but not for Napa hotels.

Room was clean, bed was comfortable, everything worked. TV Guide was hit or miss, but I'm just nitpicking. Breakfast was fine for free, certainly not that of much higher end hotels, but again, expectations were met.

We'd stay again without reservation.

The rooms are average size with very nice amenities. The bed was very comfortable and the seating, while a bit funky, comfortable as well. We were away from the highway, very quiet. The staff were extremely accommodating. They gave us directions, advice, and helped us whenever they could. The location made it simple to get everywhere. The breakfast was very well done with all sorts of selections. The heated pool and hot tub provided relief for our tired selves at the end of the day.

We were on a California tour for 16 days. Prior to our arrival in Napa, we stayed at the Grand Hyatt in San Francisco (outstanding hotel). Over 6 hotels in our 16 days trip, we stayed in 4 Best Western. This one like the others have a excellent service from all staff. However, we found the room to be very average. There is 2 restaurants nearby, one Mexican (excellent) and one Italian ( not used). Nice to have a car to visit around. location ok need a car.
