Since this was my first visit to Napa, I wasn't at all familiar with the areas and wasn't comfortable chancing it with a B&B that might be off the beaten track. If that's more your vibe you won't love this hotel. The hotel is centrally located just off of the St. Helena Highway which made it easy for us to spend one day tasting in Napa, another in Sonoma. It is in an area that isn't all that picturesque but it is ideal for someone looking for inexpensive lodging so they can spend more money on awesome wine.

The rooms were comfortable, clean and the staff was incredibly helpful. The breakfast isn't amazing but you get more than your standard muffins and toast and it's included in the price of the room. We wound up leaving with a case of wine that we were able to make arrangements to ship as we checked out, everything was super easy and it was just overall a great experience that I would definitely recommend.

This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel. It is such a deal in the Napa area. I paid $134 before taxes from Booking.com. The room had 2 queens, microwave, flat screen, refrigerator, free wifi and breakfast included. The room had a good heating/cooling unit. It is set close to the freeway, but the traffic does not keep you awake. There is a mexican restaurant next door where we had happy hour margaritas. Breakfast was waffles, eggs, sausage, cereal, juices, fruit, bagels, and toast. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I would strongly recommend this hotel for any stay in the Napa Valley.

This place is a typical Best Western. Don't let the Napa name laed you believe anything else. It is well taken care of and very clean. The breakfast was better than a lot of places as they provided fresh cooked scrambled eggs, sausage, and waffles to go along with the traditional hotel breakfast of bagels and cereals and fruits. We got stuck in the room directly over the breakfast area, so they began preparing breakfast quite early at 5am ish! The rooms near the lobby are very noisy from traffic all night long. Hwy 29 is about 50 yards away but seems like feet with the traffic noise all night long. If you stay here, make sure to demand a room away from the noise.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay, we just did not understand the class of people staying here. At breakfast there was a group of people all in their pajamas and another guy wearing only a speedo! This was at 8:30 in the morning and the temperature was 37 degrees outside. GO figure, only in California!

Room Tip: Demand a room away from the Highway!

Was concerned upon reading the bed bug post and almost changed our reservation. I was extra vigilant upon arrival and thoroughly checked all aspects of the room. Everything was very clean and in order. Even looked under the bedding, around and underneath the mattress. Bedding was crisp and clean, no issues here. The staff was always friendly and helpful. The location was convenient. I recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

This was a wonderful hotel. The inside had just been redone and it was great. The breakfast room was very roomy and the fireplace was a nice touch. The rooms were nice and large. The service was good. Very helpful at the front desk.

We had a suite that had a sleeper couch for the kids. The room was quite well laid out and fairly comfortable. Breakfast is included buffet style and was fine to grab a light bite before heading out. All in all value for money this wasn't a bad stop. It's not 5 star but doesn't charge those kind of prices either. We had planned to be out and about most days, so didn't spend much time in the hotel. We did use their pool one evening, which was good. They have a laundry on site which we used and found the staff to all be fairly helpful with any queries / requests that we had. The location was also very convenient to get to many good restaurants and wineries.

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the car park, away from the road(running behind the hotel) and away from the c...

I stayed at this hotel for work with two coworkers. We questioned the cleanliness of the hotel and checked our mattresses. I noticed what looked like it could have been insect casings in the mattress crevice, but we optimistically thought the mattress just might not have been very clean. (This is when we should have left)

One of my coworkers woke the next day to find she had been bitten and found bed bugs in her sheets. I thought I had luckily avoided them and that her room having the bugs was an isolated incident. Unfortunately, that was not the case as several days later my arms and legs developed numerous bites. Based on cdc.gov, bed bug bites often take several days to develop and these bites match the description of bed bug bites.

I'm horrified and very concerned that I may have brought the bugs home with me. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this hotel, it is clear that there is an infestation there.
