Easy to get to and from wineries. Room was spacious and easy for multiple people to get ready at the same time. Weekday breakfast is great but can be busy on weekends so just allow a few extra minutes.

This is a 3 Level box configuration courtyard hotel, with a pool included in the courtyard. The rooms are a bit dimly lit, but they were suites, and had all of the items you would normally need (coffee machine, alarm clock, safe, etc.). No mini bar, or anything extra. Not sure if there was room service. They do a full service breakfast buffet included in the price each day. Now THIS was the sweet part of the deal. I slept fine in the bed, and the bathroom and products were okay. Nothing crazy nice, but perfectly acceptable. Did not encounter noise issues, but the walls and floors did seem thin, so go for the upper level if you can. Also ask for a room that gets better light, if that is what you prefer.

Room Tip: High floor, sunny room

It's a great hotel and the room layout is excellent, but the beds are too small for two people to sleep in. This let's the hotel down as it's excellent in every other respect, including things like the managers reception.

We chose the Embassy Suites mainly for the name and reputation with the Hilton family hotels and were definitely not disappointed with our stay. It's only about a mile from downtown Napa, which is great if you want to go into the downtown area and explore around. We did take a Lyft back to the hotel after dinner and it was only like $7. They have a little pond area with some ducks, 2 white swans and 1 black swan. It's a nice outside area to drink wine and relax. They have a Manager's reception each night and serve drinks and snacks. It's a pretty nice perk if you aren't super hungry for a big dinner. They also have a restaurant onsite if you choose to have a more extensive menu. We went into the bar for drinks and a burger and it was fantastic. They grow the veggies locally and make their own pickles. Actually, I think the chef has a program where he works with kids to show them how to prepare food so the kids are the ones that grow the veggies and make the pickles. They offer a breakfast buffet which is nice with tons of food! You can get everything from a freshly made omelette, eggs your way, pancakes, oatmeal, pastries, fruit and so on. Definitely pay attention to the breakfast traffic card in your room because it tells you the low traffic to high traffic times for the breakfast.

Rooms were spacious and we had a "bonus" sink/mirror set up in the bedroom. This was nice since the bathroom was a tad narrow so my wife could get ready separately from me. The rooms are set up to overlook the courtyard so it's set up "garden style" as opposed to everything being inside. There is a section of rooms that are in the restaurant/atrium area but the majority of the rooms seem to have that courtyard view.

There's lots of parking at the hotel and it's conveniently located near the highway so getting to the Napa side or Sonoma side is pretty easy. The customer service there was excellent from everyone we ran into. My only small complaint would be that the bed was not as comfortable as some hotels we have stayed in. It's definitely on the softer side, but it wasn't a huge deal to keep me away from staying there again. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will look to book there on our next trip out to Napa.

We had an overall good experience. However, the check-in process didn't meet expectations. We called 3 times and asked for an early check-in which the staff said was likely possible by the time we got there around 1pm. However, once we got there, we were given the run around. It sort of soured our experience the first evening we were there. However, outside of that we had no issues and liked the location of the hotel. It is good for families and the we enjoyed the beautiful pond w/ the swans and ducks.
