“The most PERSONALITY of any of the Embassy Suites”
Reviewed April 15, 2013

OK - Your probably looking at staying here, to save some money, as compared to the many other more charming and more expensive lodgings in the Napa Valley.... - and you should be able to do that...

This Embassy Suites has the most personality of any of the Embassy Suites...

While still being a larger format hotel it very much does not feel so big.
YES the picture of the swan on the web site is actually there... in fact
There are 3 adult swans in the courtyard. And while we were there -
The 2 White swans where trading turns at sitting on their nest of eggs... 3 eggs...
Very cool to see!

The Staff is supper sweet - very accommodating -
even before the client realizes they would have a need...

And a special note to the breakfast crew - AWESOME - job preparing my custom omelets daily for 5 days! -
Plenty of food and food that you want to eat! - not some simple continental breakfast sitting on a counter... This is the full breakfast!

There are 2 pools, an outdoor one and an indoor one... (both tiny).
The indoor one, well, lets just say over the 5 days we were there - not one of the days did the pool look clean enough to go in...
It was milky and bubbly - and stayed out of it...
I'm sure this was a RARE occurrence, with some incorrect chemical mix and they will have it soon fixed. - Besides I wasn't really there to go swimming or hang out at the Hotel...

It gets very crowded over the weekends, as you might imagine. It looks like the hotel may have special package pricing from time to time..
Based on the volume of people and groups during the weekend part of our visit.

All in all for our experience - it was a good one and I'd consider staying here again.
.

Room Tip: Request a room on the 2nd or 3rd floors, else numerous people will people heard walking & draggi...

Nice location, Staff take you for granted because of the location. Don't expect to be treated with the 4 star treatment expect 1 star paying for the 3 star treatment
A/C system was just ok. The room never truly felt cool, although opening the bedroom window helped in the evenings. The lounge area is large with a nice bar, although when busy, the service was average regarding wait-time.

Very nice, overall clean room. Bathroom and bedroom were very clean. We didn't partake in the evening manager's reception, but the complimentary cooked to order breakfasts were terrific. The location made this hotel very convenient to DT Napa, and it's just a few miles up the road to Yountville.

We stayed 2 nights during early April, and enjoyed our stay very much. The room was clean, bed comfortable, and nice grounds. Our room was very quiet even though there was a highway not far in the distance.

The location was great, both to the Napa wineries and to the downtown area where there are a number of restaurants. The room cost was very competitive with other hotels nearby especially considering the included breakfast and cocktail hour. It was also nice to have that cocktail outside in the garden and pond area. Highly recommended.

We try to travel p to Napa each year and we always stay here.the rooms are lovely, very comfortable and extremely clean. The staff can't do enough, ask and you receive it instantly.
Cocktail hour is great, the drinks are terrific and the snacks ample. Breakfast is delicious, and sitting next to the ponds is heavenly.
Location is good, you can pretty much walk to the store, and other shopping.

Very nice stay at the Embassy Suites. The biggest plus was the convenience to the Napa Valley area for winery/vineyard visits. A relaxing and easy 15 minutes gets you into the Napa Valley area. Furthermore, the hotel is an easy few minute drive or a 15 minutes walk into the downtown area of Napa.
The outside sitting area, an atrium feel to it, include tables that surrounded a pond. Very pleasant to sit and relax with a bite or a drink. The wireless worked well throughout the hotel. Rooms were as one would expect for an Embassy Suites. Comfortable and with the standard refrigerator and microwave. The A/C system was just ok. The room never truly felt cool, although opening the bedroom window helped in the evenings.
The lounge area is large with a nice bar, although when busy, the service was average regarding wait-time.
The hotel does have some very good information regarding the Napa Valley, just ask for it at the front desk, as it is not available in a kiosk or lobby-stand.
All in all, a recommended hotel for Napa Valley excursions.

Room Tip: Probably best to get something on the third floor. Only a three floor hotel and the first floor room...

Had a nice experience at this hotel. It is a nice Embassy suites. Everything you expect and more. From the moment we checked in, David was very nice and accommodating with letting us check In early to a beautiful room in the courtyard. Great service, beautiful room, nice bathroom, with everything we could want. A little walk to downtown so we took a $6 taxi ride a couple of times. Will be staying again....
