Took a bereavement trip with our mother's ashes to California with two sisters, and I mistakenly made our reservation for June, when we were supposed to be there in July. When we showed up in July, they not only found us a room on a sold-out weekend, but they also refunded what they had charged my credit card for the no-show in June. That was pretty astounding to me, and I so appreciated it!

The hotel courtyard is lovely - a pond with two sets of swans floating around. The cocktail hour(s) was also great, serving mixed drinks and wine, beer and frozen margaritas. Breakfast was wonderful. Our room was a quiet side, and it was just perfect.

Thank you, Embassy Suites! We are staying with you again this month.

We stayed on the ground floor in one of the disabled modified suites, so there were adaptions in the bathroom excetera for this purpose. I would suggest unless you require the modifications, it would be better to request one of the suites without. The suite itself was still very good though (clean and spacious), however we only stayed for two nights so did not get an opportunity to utilise the kitchenette or lounge much. A buffet breakfast was included which was very good and as a vegetarian I was pleased with the selection offered, which included a made to order omlette bar. In the evenings between around 5-7pm they also offered a managers reception where you could get free drinks and snacks. If you tipped at least $1 per drink though, the barman would be more generous with the wine! The grounds inside the complex are pretty as there is a large decorative pond with white and black swans. There is also free parking at the front of the complex. It takes about 15-20 minutes to walk into the centre of town, so it is still quite far out but it depends where you want to go. The receptionist was very helpful and recommended and booked a winery tour for us (on short notice) with Platypus Tours, it was about $100 per person to take you out for the whole day to 4 different wineries. I would definately recommend this tour as although you had to pay wine tasting fees still, these were often waived if you made a purchase, lunch was included in the tour and you did not have to worry about transport whilst drinking!

I stayed at this hotel during the first part of a vacation trip taken to northern California in July, 2011.

This is a hotel that really felt more like a cozy, rustic resort than a standard hotel. It is a larger Embassy Suites property and one that really can be a destination for travelers to Napa wine country.

The hotel staff was very accommodating and professional, and the hotel room was spacious, well appointed and very comfortable. The room decor was tasteful, and the cranberry and tan colors were calming. Much to the chagrin of my toes, the beds also featured brass foot posts.

Parking at the hotel is free and was readily available. The hotel restaurant was quite large and hosted a very nice made-to-order hot breakfast and oatmeal, yogurt, fruit, breads, and juices were also available.

The property also had a swimming pool available and a small business office for those wishing to use free internet.

If this hotel had not been fully booked during most of my vacation, I would have extended the stay at Embassy Suites-Napa many more days, and highly recommend it to visitors needing superior accommodations in the Napa, California area.

Room Tip: Book your reservations early because this is a popular hotel!

We went to Napa to do some wine tasting and stayed at the Embassy Suites Hotel overnight. What a wonderful place with great service and a beautiful courtyard that is home to a pair of White and Black Swans. We will definitely stay again.

from the beginning of our trip to Napa and up to when we checked out, the staff were very helpful. They gave us excellent recommendations of wineries and restaurants. My travel companion wanted halibut for dinner and the staff went well beyond their call of duty by calling restaurants for me and locating a restaurant that serves halibut.

please note that check-in time is at 4pm. The probability of getting an early check-in or late check out is almost impossible.

The breakfast was great too.

Hotel is beautiful! Grounds are amazing! The staff, including Kurtis,Laura, Severo, David, were great, but one team member almost made us want to leave and that was Keith Burhorn. He was incredible impatient with us and didn't even seem to care about us and our needs. Although we only came to the desk a couple times, the staff listed above (disregarding Keith) were amazing and really made us feel appreciated and special. The swans are stunning and Carole in the resturaunt is phenomenal. Overall great, except Keith.

Rooms are typical layout for Embassy Suites hotel. Feels up to date and very clean. Breakfast better than most E.S., very nice staff and nice grounds. Centrally located near frwy for easy access to all.
