We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The front desk people were very helpful in recommending and helping us reserve a wine tour. In the lobby they offer fruit, granola bars, and yogart in the morning. For breakfast we received a voucher for the restaurant which allowed you to chose a breakfast and receive $5 off per person or eat the designated breakfast (which was delicious). The fitness center, business center and laundry facilities were clean and very modern.

We are glad you enjoyed your stay with us. One of the many Wine Tour Companies is the way to go to see the wineries. Leave the driving to them. Hope to see you on your next visit to the Napa Valley.

I was very happy and satisfied with our stay at the Best Western Plus Inn at the Vines. Friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms, nice pool area and even a few snacks (cereal bars, fruit, coffee) for breakfast. Very pricey due to Memorial Day weekend.

Thank you for your review and I am glad you were "very satisfied". Tip: Rewards members get a full hot breakfast in the Denny's attached. Just ask to sign up at any Best Western to start collecting your points and rewards, like free upgrades, early check-in, late check out, etc. Come back and see us again soon.

I was with Cafe Con Leche (her review is directly below mine), and I want to correct one thing in her review.

She said the motel was $150 a night. If only that were the case. For three nights, we averaged around $240 a night, which is really sad. Considering prices in the area, this place might have been OK for $150 a night, but definitely not for the price we paid.

I agree with everything else Cafe Con Leche said, and with others here who noted this wasn't worth the money. Napa is a beautiful place, so why stay in such a crummy part of it? If I'd wanted to see a McDonald's, a smoke shop and a Home Depot, I could have stayed home. Next time, I'll do better research and find a place that's in a nice location and not so run down. Surely one could do better, even in Napa, for $240 a night.

Room Tip: If you have to stay here, the third floor has the most light. The elevators are very slow though. We mostly took the stairs.

We are located in the city of Napa which is setup like any other town, with restaurants, shopping centers, etc. Most hotels in the city limits have similar surroundings. Our room prices are very competitive in Napa. The average rates are from the low $200 to upward of $400 on weekends. If you do your research you will find that we are one of the highest rates hotels in our class for price, quality, cleanliness and customer service.

The location of this property is great for winery hopping, either in Napa Valley or Sonoma. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The breakfast, which is part of the price is served up at the Denny's next door. I will say the food is average to good. Nice location to downtown Napa and the hotel is easy to find. We always have a restful stay here when in town

Thank you for review and for staying with us again. You can see all the improvements we have made since your last visit and we have more in the works. We have added a workout center, business center and guest laundry since your last visit. We just finished the new hallways, guest room furniture and carpets. Hope to see you again soon.

This sits just across from the Napa Riverfront so in that way its a good location and close to the Oxbow Market but far from the vineyards. The room was clean and nice but was on the second floor of a three story building and upstairs was very noise. Breakfast is included but it is at the Dennys next door and is very limited on what is free (did not use) and limited hours.

Thank you for your review. The Coombsville Wine Region is under 2 miles from our location just in back of the Oxbow market. There at one of the wineries you can sit with the owner at his dinning room table tasting wine, which is pretty cool. The Carneros Wine Region is around 5 miles from us as is the Oak Knoll Region. Thank you for mentioning the Napa River as it has an amazing trail to walk or ride your bike and great fishing also. Hope to see you on your next visit to the Napa Valley.
