I was with Cafe Con Leche (her review is directly below mine), and I want to correct one thing in her review.

She said the motel was $150 a night. If only that were the case. For three nights, we averaged around $240 a night, which is really sad. Considering prices in the area, this place might have been OK for $150 a night, but definitely not for the price we paid.

I agree with everything else Cafe Con Leche said, and with others here who noted this wasn't worth the money. Napa is a beautiful place, so why stay in such a crummy part of it? If I'd wanted to see a McDonald's, a smoke shop and a Home Depot, I could have stayed home. Next time, I'll do better research and find a place that's in a nice location and not so run down. Surely one could do better, even in Napa, for $240 a night.

Room Tip: If you have to stay here, the third floor has the most light. The elevators are very slow though. We...

We are located in the city of Napa which is setup like any other town, with restaurants, shopping centers, etc. Most hotels in the city limits have similar surroundings. Our room prices are very competitive in Napa. The average rates are from the low $200 to upward of $400 on weekends. If you do your research you will find that we are one of the highest rates hotels in our class for price, quality, cleanliness and customer service.

The location of this property is great for winery hopping, either in Napa Valley or Sonoma. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The breakfast, which is part of the price is served up at the Denny's next door. I will say the food is average to good. Nice location to downtown Napa and the hotel is easy to find. We always have a restful stay here when in town

Thank you for review and for staying with us again. You can see all the improvements we have made since your last visit and we have more in the works. We have added a workout center, business center and guest laundry since your last visit. We just finished the new hallways, guest room furniture and carpets. Hope to see you again soon.

This sits just across from the Napa Riverfront so in that way its a good location and close to the Oxbow Market but far from the vineyards. The room was clean and nice but was on the second floor of a three story building and upstairs was very noise. Breakfast is included but it is at the Dennys next door and is very limited on what is free (did not use) and limited hours.

Thank you for your review. The Coombsville Wine Region is under 2 miles from our location just in back of the Oxbow market. There at one of the wineries you can sit with the owner at his dinning room table tasting wine, which is pretty cool. The Carneros Wine Region is around 5 miles from us as is the Oak Knoll Region. Thank you for mentioning the Napa River as it has an amazing trail to walk or ride your bike and great fishing also. Hope to see you on your next visit to the Napa Valley.

This hotel is close to everything. Excellent service, clean rooms and the comped breakfast at Denny's were great. This was one of the nicest Denny's I have seen in ages, directly attached to hotel. The fitness room was extremely clean, could have used more weight equipment, but just fine for working out when you travel. Front desk, gracious and helpful with tour arrangement.

This place is not worth the money at all. It is not really an inn for visiting the Napa Valley, but rather a disorganized, overpriced mess of a place across from a Target and McDonald's and next to a smoke shop. The wineries are not near, but rather about a 15 minute car ride away.
Let me start with the ok parts. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms, overall, are spacious and clean. So if that's all that you are looking for (and don't mind the exorbitant price for what you get) then you will do fine here.
Here are the parts that are not reflecting in the glowing reviews:
1. The place is a maze. It has the weirdest layout of any hotel I have seen, but there are few signs to guide you around. So good luck finding your room or way out! You have to leave the main door and use outdoor staircases to go to another floor in some cases, but then you need a keycard to enter a hallway again. So if you are trying to visit someone on another floor, as we were, and you don't bring a keycard, you can't do it.
2. The staff is very disorganized and ineffective. We had various problems in our stay, all stymied by a lack of communication with us and among staff at the hotel. And most (not all, but most), seemed indifferent to our problems and annoyed by our requests for help.
3. The keycard to the room broke every single time we used it. We had to replace it four times during our stay. The doors and stairways themselves are not really working well and smelly.
4. We chose this hotel in part because of its pool, since we have kids. The pics and reviews did not show that the pool is about 10 feet long and 8 feet wide and not heated. Good luck if there is more than one family there. The hot tub was nice though.
5. This place is really expensive for all of this. We paid $150 a night (!) for a mediocre hotel in a bad location. If it had been about $80 a night it would have been more tolerable--you get what you pay for--but this is ridiculous given the price.
Bottom line--don't choose this hotel thinking you've gotten away with a good deal for a hotel right in the heart of Napa wine country. Just know what you're getting into with this place.

Room Tip: Stay on the top floor if you have to stay here at all. On lower floors the sounds of people walking...

I am sorry that you were not happy with your stay at our Hotel. We do our best to give the best service to all our guest. $150 is a very reasonable price in the city of Napa this time of year. Yes, we are in the city of Napa and the Vineyards start about 3 miles from our location. We advertise a small pool with pictures online and verbally over the phone, when asked. All of our reviews are from actual guest and their opinions.

The hotel was very clean, and all the employees were very helpful. The price was reasonable (about 1/2 the cost of many other places). I would definitely stay here again. Although we arrived after 9:00 p.m., the front desk clerk greeted us with a smile and gave us directions on the best place to park and the shortest route to our room. She also suggested places to see and the best route to get there.

Have stayed here on previous trips and it has always been a good experience. Good location for visiting the Napa Valley. Front desk staff has always been personable and professional. Rooms tend to be larger than normal, and comfortable. Beds are comfortable. Did not eat the breakfast as it is in a nearby Denny's. Nice experience.
