We found this B&B by chance and how lucky we were! The rooms are small but the rest of the house is open so you can sit and have tea etc.

Each morning they make a fantastic homemade breakfast which unusual dishes such as Fruit Salad followed by Cheese Souffle, and then White Chocolate and Raspberry bread. Much needed at the start of a day of wine tasting. Also they leave our delicious desserts every afternoon. Plus they have a free wine tasting between 6 and 7 each day (we didn't have time to attend sadly).

The innkeepers are very helpful - every morning joining us at breakfast and telling us which winery's are open and the weather forecast. They also helped us by suggesting a wine tour bus and booking it for us.

This was a tremendous stay! The room was a bit small and the shower was tricky to handle, but otherwise a perfect place. Situated in town with a lot of restaurants with thousands of winebottles few minutes away by foot it's really perfectly located. The breakfast is awesome and unusually healty! First I thought : "Can I have a little bit more?" Because I was still bit hungry. But soon I realised that it still lasted till late afternoon until we had to eat something again. Just go, enjoy and relax your next stay! Absolutely recommended!

Michael

My husband and I stayed at the Old World Inn in February of 2012 (offseason, really good prices) for our first ever stay in Napa and had an absolutely PERFECT time. The food was delicious, the staff was super friendly, the inn itself was adorable, and the location was great! Within walking distance of downtown, and right across from a grocery store. We had so much fun at the wine tasting they provided one evening, especially because we got to enjoy house-made chocolate desserts afterward (which they make every night). They had coupons for some of the wineries and great suggestions for where to go to taste. We stayed in the Starry Night room, which I highly recommend. The skylight was wonderful and we had so much fun in the outdoor spa. We were booked to come back this September and just couldn't wait, BUT I unexpectedly got pregnant. I was very concerned about getting our money back, but I explained the situation to the staff and they gave me a gift certificate for the FULL PRICE for after baby is born. They even told me that they have baby friendly / pumping friendly rooms (with a fridge and kitchenette)! Now we can't wait to come back post-baby, and we don't even have to worry about accommodations.

We stayed in the main house which only had a few room so it was quiet and quant. A very old house, floors creek but its part of the experience. Be prepared for a very old house with somewhat tacky themed rooms in the main house. Living area is cute. The whole house smells kind of old and musty but again it's part of the old world bed and breakfast experience. There were jetted tubs in each of our rooms but I wish they would have had some bubble bath. They have a large selection of DVDs you can borrow. Every night there is a wine tasting in one of their other houses across the street. A grocery store is in walking distance. Be ware that the house is IN town not nestled in with all the wineries. Wineries are a very short drive but if your looking to be IN it this is not for you. Breakfast is nice, nothing really wow but very cute. They have mini coffee presses for you convenience all night long. They serve deserts at night which are left all night for your convenience. In the back of the main house there is a fire pit that is lit every night. It's a little cheesy as its only one starter log that is lot but you get the feel of cozying up to the fire at night with a glass of wine. There are also mini gas stoves/fire places in each room.

We spent three nights in the night in Paris room, had champagne delivered which was excellent. Rooms are smaller but that is to be expected in an older house. The rooms were at times noisy, you could easily hear the goings on in the other nearby rooms. Slightly farther from the Main Street than was ideal but we knew that when we booked it. Staff was always very attentive an breakfast was excellent each day.

My husband and I, as well as another couple stayed here for four nights in June. It was not quite what I expected but it was still nice. I expected more ambience like you'd expect in a B & B, but it was really a group of three buildings without a ton of personality. Rooms were fine for the price but I would choose rooms carefully because of size and bathrooms. Location was good as long as you are mobile. Parking was not a problem. Breakfast was really good for the most part. We didn't enjoy the nightly wine tastings, but to tell you the truth, we only went to one (which was enough for us). Nightly chocolate desserts were a nice touch, as we're the fruited waters and chocolate chip cookies.
