I felt like family! First I would like to mention that the entire staff was friendly and helpful but Ryan was phenominal! He greeted us and showed us around the entire home and then immeadiately asked if we had dinner plans for that night? We told him no and he recommended a couple of places within walking distance. We picked one and he flipped open his phone and made us reservations.

We stayed for two nights and each night between 5 and 6 we met with the other travelers in the parlor for a private wine tasting from a local vineyard. It was very relaxed and everyone shared their daily experiences (great tips). They opened at least 8-10 bottles and we had 2nds and 3rds of our favorites. Great appetizers too.

We stayed in the Choclat room and it was very nice. My husband loved the projection screen attached to the bed and the dvd collection in the common area.

Be sure to let the local tasting rooms like Vitners Colllective (within walking distance and great wines) that you are staying at the B&B because you will get 2 for 1 wine tasting.

If you like good Jazz and Italian dont miss Uva Trattoria for dinner and remember Ryan can make your reservations.

This place was friendly and charming and we will be back!!!!

As this was a second trip to Napa we knew where we wanted to stay and through extensive research found the Old World Inn. It was close to downtown, close to the highway, and close to Trefethen where we are club members. The selection of Chocolat gave us a great room, front of house, large bed and great screen at the foot of the bed.

Having a few things booked we thought we were set. Ryan and Victor listened to us and made even better recommendations. We wanted quite wineries - they made it happen.

Breakfast was a delight as we met so many friendly and amusing people. The large table made for ease of discussion.

We will be back.

The wife and I decided on a last minute trip to Napa Valley as a long weekend get away. I fortunately stumbled onto the Old World Inn while searching the internet. Everyone raved about the inn and the service they received. Typically most people only write reviews when they are not happy with their stay but I didn't see any of them concerning the OWI. Due to the lateness of our booking we were not able to stay in the same room for our entire stay. We stayed in a different room each of the three night stay. We thus has a good opportunity to sample more of the OWI than others. Although we had to live somewhat out of our suitcases, the staff made it work by moving everything to our different room each day. Just like any successful company they are only as good as the people that work there. This is truly the case with the OWI. The people and services offered to the guests is A one. We were given recommendations on restaurants and wineries and were pleased with each one. Thanks for an enjoyable stay.

I can't say enough great things about the Old World Inn in Napa! The inn itself and the innkeepers were amazing! They really helped us plan our whole wine country trip and made reservations for tours and dinner. I must have emailed back and forth with Vic about 6 times and he was always helpful and pleasant and all of his suggestions were perfect! We actually stayed in the "Artist's Retreat" which was across the street, but our room was beautiful (Painter 2) and they left wine, food, desserts, and baked goods for breakfast in our own personal fridge. They could not have been more welcoming and helpful.

Yes, at the Old World Inn I felt like the staff went out of their way to make sure that I had a memorable experience. I was greeted warmly upon arrival, guided up to my beautiful "Chocolat" room, and told about all of the interesting things to see and do in the area. Later I enjoyed my complimentary wine in the courtyard under a lovely lime tree surrounded by the scent of honeysuckle vines and the sound of the water in the fountain. Later, more wine, and an excellent assortment of cheeses, and chocolate desserts that were mouth-watering. There were so many things I loved about The Old World Inn, but mostly I loved that I felt pampered, rested, and refreshed after my stay there. I can't wait to go back!

Welcome to a taste of the past where simple pleasures and small touches add up to huge experiences. Our reservation started online and they followed up with a phone call and email. Upon arrival we were greeted by friendly smiling faces and a plate of cookies. Our introduction started in an unhurried tour and explanation of what to expect. We were offered tips and reservations were made for us. The very accommodating staff went the extra mile. Just the right amount of interaction made us very comfortable. At 5:30 we were treated to a small spread of cheese and dried fruit and a private tasting by Judd's Hill Winery. Chilled wine and real glasses in our room was very thoughtful. Our Night in Paris was charming and felt like we were on a true vacation far from home. At 7 pm chocolate goodies and topping off the evening a caraff of wine was available to abide by the cozy outdoor fire pit. In the morning hot coffee and ready to steep french press coffee pots greeted us. The breakfast was souflet eggs, juice& yogurt. Music in the background was fitting to the era of the Victorian home. This was a true treat to experience again and share with friends.

The B & B Experience - To 'B' or Not to 'B'
Definitely to 'B' at the Old World Inn!
Our family decided to stop giving Christmas gifts and birthday gifts to each other a few years ago and in exchange opened a savings account and made deposits on every occasion. It became known as the 'Birthday fund'! We decided to put our fund to good use upon our mother-in law's 60th birthday(which was this August). We just had to decide on a destination-Napa.
The next step was to research the best possible place to rest
ourselves during our tour of Napa. We searched and kept coming back to the Old World Inn. In comparison with several other B&B's available ,Old World Inn always shined. Due to a great website, personable friendly staff, which whom I spoke
with on several occasions, it became quite clear that picking the
Old World Inn was the best choice! Our trip has come and gone and it was truly special in every way! It was so pleasant to wake up in such a beautiful and cozy environment ! In addition to the beautiful ambiance, it was great to return from a day of wine tasting only to go to bed in complete comfort with a belly full of delicious treats from their very qualified and capable chef. I am
truly returning home looking extremely well rested and with a feeling of complete satisfaction that your inn helped to make our Napa experience a perfect one! Thank you!
