“Charming, sweet, gorgeous- The perfect place to stay in Napa”
Reviewed August 3, 2010

We came to Napa Valley on a weekend during an extended business trip. We had initially wanted to stay at a different B&B near St. Helena for our two nights, but the room we wanted in that inn was only available for one night. So we made our second night reservations at the Napa Inn and stayed in the Garden Cottage. After only a few minutes, we had wished we had stayed both nights at the Napa Inn. The Garden Cottage was so cute! We arrived, settled in, and enjoyed some wine and cheese in our private garden patio. The patio isn't huge, but it is certainly large enough for two (or more) people to have a relaxing evening. The enclosed space also had a sweet little garden that really made it seem like we were in our own little paradise.... Then we got into the two-person hot tub. That was soooo relaxing! It's a fill-your-own tub so you don't have to worry about sitting in the same water a previous guest was in. The room itself is large with two extra sitting areas- a loveseat and breakfast nook. The room also comes with a mini-fridge and microwave. There are also plates and some silverware that we used to serve our cheeses and snacks on. The bed is super comfy, too. Oh, the cottage isn't freestanding, as far as we were able to tell, but it is completely private.
Breakfast was served buffet-style in the main house. It was delicious. Beverly was the perfect hostess. She is very sweet and accomodating. We absolutely loved our stay at the Napa Inn and would definitely stay here again :)
PS Our favorite wineries were Heitz Cellar on the south end of St. Helena (we bought a case!), and Domaine Carneros south of Napa (sparkling wines and a great view).

The Napa Inn had great innkeepers, lovely rooms, and fabulous breakfasts. We stayed in one of the smaller rooms and still felt very comfortable. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The breakfasts each of our 2 mornings were different and the best food we had on our entire trip. I asked for a couple of recipes the final morning, but the innkeeper who had the recipes was off that day. However, she mailed them to me within a couple of days. I was really impressed. We will definitely stay here again if we are ever in this area.

This B&B was an easy walk to the downtown area. About 10 min stroll. Located in victorian style neighborhoods we enjoyed the architecture as we walked about. At night we slept very peacfully and enjoyed the breakfasts of fruits, yogurt, casseroles and homemade granola (yummy). A special treat each afternoon is port or sherry with an assortment of cheeses and cookies.

What a wonderful trip we had to Napa and most in part the Napa Inn! From the time of the reservation to the time we left we were treated like royalty! The garden cottage was a beautiful romantic hideaway, food was excellent, clean, friendly and inviting. The staff are fabulous. I just can't say enough about what a wonderful time. My partner and I went for his 60th b-day and enjoyed every minute. Thanks for the hospitality.

After driving straight up from LA to Napa...we checked in to the Chesney SUite of the Napa Inn. A lovely B & B...the room is a bit wallpaper flowery which was a bit much for my BF but I thought it was charming. The breakfast the next morning was great & fun to meet the people in the Inn we didnt even know were there. Perfect location for wine tasteing & would stay here again in the most comfortable bed & amazing sheets.

The first time that my fiance' and I stayed at the Napa Inn was the summer of 2008. Our experience was so positive that we decided to stay there again this July. The location of the Inn is perfect, providing easy access to Napa's best wineries, as well as the center of town. Extremely helpful and kind, the staff provided breakfast and coffee, which were absolutely delicious, and a great way to start the day! The rooms were cute, quiet, and comfortable. All in all, our experiences at The Napa Inn were wonderful, and we will be sure to book a room again upon our return!

My husband and I stayed at the Napa Inn for our honeymoon in the Garden Cottage. It was absolutely wonderful! The room was clean and well taken care of, but included plenty of amenities. The breakfast every morning was hearty and delicious, which was great before a day of drinking at the wineries. The staff was very knowledgeable about the different wineries and gave great recommendations. There were plenty of brochures and tasting cards in the front area as well (a plus!). The location was wonderful as it was walking distance to 1st street in Napa and just a quick drive down the street to get to 29. Also, the staff put out sherry and port in the afternoons along with freshly baked cookies, cheese, and crackers. There was also a free wine tasting one evening while we stayed there. All in all, a great place to stay!
