“Quiet and charming”

We stayed for our anniversary for one night. We had the East Loft in the Carriage House. The staff was very friendly and helped us choose wineries, gave tasting passes, delivered our breakfast to our room after the amazing in room couples massage. I highly recommend the Beazley House. Cute dogs live there too!!

Room Tip: East Loft was quiet and private. The jacuzzi tub was amazing and fireplace was easy to use!

We were a group of 10 - yes, 10 - celebrating two special birthdays and one retirement. We wanted a place where all of us could be together and yet not feel "trapped" in a hotel room. The Beazley House was the perfect choice. Four couples had bedrooms in the upstairs of the main house and one couple had a room in the carriage house at the back of the property but not far away. The room my husband and I stayed in was the Wedgewood Room. High ceilings, king bed, small electric fireplace, view of the backyard. Small bath with stall shower and toilet. The sink/vanity was in the bedroom - but, hey, this house is over 100 years old so the fact all the rooms have had their own baths added is great.

When we arrived we were warmly greeted by Che (? sp) who gave us a tour of the house and explained key codes, breakfast times, happy hour, etc. It was also lunch time so she directed us to a nearby Safeway (a short walk) where we got deli sandwiches. By the time we returned she had set up a table in the garden with napkins, silverware and water so we could enjoy a picnic on a beautiful autumn day. Superb guest service!

Breakfast on the two mornings we were there was excellent. Individual frittatas each morning, bacon, fresh fruit platter, cereal, yogurt, breads, juices and coffee. Couldn't ask for more.

In the evening on the weekends they ask local vintners to come to the B&B and do a small wine tasting. Much fun to gather in the large living room, meet other guests, and share notes about what everyone did for the day.

The Beazley House is conveniently located near downtown Napa and just off the main route - Hwy 29 - that goes up the valley to all the wineries and restaurants. The owner, Carol, was beyond helpful with many suggestions of places to go and sights to see. The house and the garden have been lovingly maintained. It was the perfect place for our gathering and we couldn't recommend it highly enough.

My husband and I took a long weekend in Napa at the end of the crush. It was a last minute decision and we were lucky to find an opening at Beazley House which is located on the main street in Napa. It's a great location for anything you want to do in the Wine Country. Our room, Blossom View, was in the re-created carriage house behind the main building and protected from any possible street noise. We had a private entrance which meant no disturbances from other guests going to their rooms. Our room had a jacuzzi, flat screen TV, king bed, two recliners, a fireplace and a few other pieces of furniture. We were invited to use the living room in the main house and help ourselves to coffee, tea, water and cookies 24/7. Breakfast was served from 9 to 10::30 am with a hot entree served alongside a buffet of cereal, fruit, pastry and more. Michelle was the concierge during our visit and easily available. We also met Jim Beazley, the owner, both mornings. He was attentive to everything we had to say about our experience at Beazley House. My husband and I came away from Napa rested and refreshed. You won't go wrong staying here.

A great place to stay, convenient to restaurants, lovely property, people very nice and very helpful. Wine hour was lively and lots of fun. Not much they could possibly improve! Even though we had to leave before breakfast, they packed a great brown bag breakfast.

My dog, Rain, and I loved staying here! The garden was a welcome oasis for both of us. The gracious Innkeepers went out of their way to make our stay memorable and special and even went on a dog hike with us. Our room was cozy and it was great to have the garden crickets sing us to sleep from our window. Beautiful building that you can tell has been cared for lovingly.
Close walking distance to unique eateries, tasting rooms, art, & shopping, but set back enough for a peaceful night. We love the Beaze and will bring many friends back here!
Thanks for such a great little gem that is perfect for a weekend getaway.

Room Tip: Each room is very different--from huge & sprawling to snug & cozy.

The Beazley House is a lovely B&B. We had contact with at least four of the staff members, and they were all very friendly and helpful, eager to assist us in making dinner or travel plans. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed the option to eat breakfast outside in their gorgeous and peaceful garden. We were so thankful that a handy and generous bagged breakfast was offered for our very early departure to S.F. Airport. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. In the evening we enjoyed the wine, cheese, sherry, and fresh chocolate chip cookies that were offered. The location was an easy walk to downtown restaurants, about 5-10 minutes. My husband and I would definitely return.

This was our first Napa and B&B experience, and we couldn't be happier with it. The room (Blossom View) was so cozy that it was hard to stick to our somewhat lose itinerary, and the wine and cheese hour in the evening was an added plus. We were the last ones to come in for breakfast on both mornings, but Jim and Carol went out their way to ensure we had a full breakfast (which was delicious). We were able to relax by the garden and enjoy our morning coffee in those great little mugs that we couldn't help but take home with us (we paid for them =P). Their recommendations for dinner and wineries to visit (especially since we had our dog) were perfect. It would be advised that you do not stop to enjoy the jacuzzi and put those great robes on until the end of the day, but it is the perfect way to fall asleep after a day of tasting. If we ever get a chance to go back to Napa again, there will be no question about where we will stay :)
