We really like the cave tour with barrel tasting at Del Dotto. Our tour guide was funny and educational and the wines were pretty darn good - probably about 10 tastings in all. We felt the value was about right as well.

We didn't take the tour at this winery, but we did the tasting. The wines are generally good (not great).

Did cave tour in Napa and we had Simon as our guide. He was great. We tasted wines straight from barrel and you could purchase them from there as well. The Cave Blend was the best best and the Cab in french oak was second. Because another tour was late they gave us a complimentary taste of their Chardonnay.

This winery is a must-see.... with the tastings, they offer you plates of cheese and nuts (most winerys do not). Beautiful lobby, tasting area with some retail options... There are caves that can be toured as well. Great stop on our trip!

You have to make a reservation for the barrel tasting! What an experience! Make sure you have some food in your belly before you get there, because there is plenty of wine to consume. The barrel caves set a very inviting atmosphere. The tasting guides are very informative and entertaining.
