Wonderful restaurant tucked into the Napa Mill area. Mushroom Bisque soup was delicious.
Belgian Endive salad with blue cheese and candied pecans was tremendous - nothing groundbreaking but executed flawlessly.
I had a NY Strip steak cooked perfectly and seasoned perfectly. Presented simply, and on point, with mashed potatoes and broccoli rabe. One of the most satisfying meals I've had in a long time. It's been nearly a week and I can still taste that steak.
Desert was a tasty bread pudding, but it was a bit too dry for my liking.
Finally, our waiter was excellent. Attentive service without being overbearing or looming, Great knowledge of the menu, ingredients and dish preparation. Actually, the table of four next to us included one guy who had tasted more than his fair share of wine that day and was under the weather. Our waiter noticed the green around his gills and, without being asked, brought him over a glass of ginger ale and bitters, which is typically a good treatment for hangover. High marks for being proactive!
