Celadon was right next to our hotel, the Napa River Inn - and it turned out to be one of our best dining experiences on this trip. We ordered the sweet coconut fried prawns with mango, cucumber and greens with sesame-citrus vinaigrette - sublime! The macadamia nut crusted goat cheese with port-poached figs, apples and crostini - exceptional! The moroccan inspired braised lamb shank with golden raisin and toasted almond couscous - falling off the bone, melting in your mouth goodness! And the s.r.f. flat iron steak, blue cheese steak fries, grilled asparagus and chimichurri sauce - fantastic. The ambiance is relaxed - you can eat in doors our out on their patio and the waitstaff were so friendly. I obviously loved it.

“Awesome food”

We loved this place so much, we went back again the next day. Their calamari was the best we have ever had. We need gluten free options and they were more than willing to help.

“Loved it!”

So yummy and charming. We ate inside because that was the atmosphere we were in the mood for, but the outside courtyard was really beautiful. Dinner was absolutely delicious.

Excellent food. Ate by the fireplace in the garden room, which is darker and far more romantic than the second, brighter room. Had a duck dish that was off the charts delicious.

“Good food and ambiance”
Reviewed April 14, 2013

Make sure you ask to sit outside b/c I think it will make your dining experience that much better. They have a beautiful heated patio. We added that we would like to be seated out there to our reservation but they were unable to accommodate and that was slightly disappointing. Food was excellent. The calamari came highly recommended and it didn't disappoint. We had the scallops and the pork and really enjoyed both. However the highlight of my meal was the desert that happened to be the special that night a strawberry rhubarb pie! One other slightly weird thing was our waiter was good but slightly strange. Was awkwardly joking with us all night and we weren't sure what to make of it but just had fun with it.
