This event was a wine tasting tour. We met folks from all over the states and world. The tastings were super expensive. I would have rather bought a bottle to share with my group.
Thank you for the note. Some wineries cant sell bottles to be opened and consumed on property. But think if you ask them to revisit the tasting they will pour you some more. Is there a way we can persuade you to give us another star.
I planned this outing for my parents 41st Wedding Anniversary. This was their first time in California and I wanted it to be memorable time for them. They enjoyed themselves emincely.

The trolley tour guide and trolley ride was great. The only thing I would say is that the lunch is below average. We were served small Panera bread sandwiches and wine isn’t included. The winery that we stopped at for lunch didn’t seem prepared to accommodate us nor did they really explain that the wine tasting was not included in the meal. In addition, keep in mind that each winery that you go to— you will pay close to $50 minimum at almost every place. Overall, I’m happy with it.
Thank you for the comments - we have since changed the lunch service to a local restaurant farmstead in St Helena. This was our first week with the new tour stop and the winery must have been working the kinks out.
Excellent tour. Lots of fun if you go with a group The winery chosen were not the greatest. Lunch was mediocre. The driver Dennis was knowledgeable and stopped for us to get photos.
We loved the wine trolley - We were able to visit four wineries, including the castle, and not worry about driving. Our guide Richard was informative, and each of the stops was unique. Because we were a group, we had special tours included at a couple of the wineries. Great way to experience wine country!
