After the 8 hour drive to Napa, we decided to just have dinner in the hotel. We weren't expecting much because hotel restaurants are usually just so so. Bit Grill 29 surprised us.
We decided to try the crab, mushroom and artichoke dip and it was amazing! The crostini served with it were a little too hard. Would have been better with grilled sourdough bread.
My husband had the NY steak topped with blue cheese crumbles. Delicious! The mashed potatoes were perfect. I had the lamb chops - on of the dinner specials. Perfect medium and paired very well with the mushroom risotto. Loved that they used multiple kinds of mushrooms. That really made the dish.
