Description: La Toque at The Westin Verasa Napa is a showcase for Chef Frank’s modern French cuisine and his passion for fine wine. This “French chef in a California body,” as he likes to call himself, has pushed his cuisine in a more harmonious wine friendly direction and the restaurant has become well known for its savvy wine pairings. Fueled by a passion for excellence, his signature restaurant, La Toque, has been bestowed with a prestigious Michelin Star as well as the Wine Spectator's Grand Wine List Award. From Chef- A commitment to the finest ingredients inspires everything we do. Our menus evolve constantly, showcasing the freshest seasonal ingredients as they become available. We are fortunate to be part of a vibrant local food community with a network of dedicated farmers and purveyors that produce the exceptionally delicious foods we present to you. The Core Menu features a collection of seasonal La Toque Classic dishes. With this menu, you chart your own dining experience, choosing either three or four small plates and a dessert. The Chef’s Table Tasting Menu and Vegetable Menu are both presented as an extensive progression of flavors and textures and should be served to the entire table. Pairing wine and food is our passion. Our culinary team and Sommeliers taste together daily, constantly exploring, looking for those pairings that elevate both the food and wine, creating harmony. The wine pairings offer a unique opportunity to enjoy a wide range of styles and flavors. Ken Frank – Chef Proprietor

We made reservations in advance and asked about certain dishes we wanted and were told no problem. We got there and the did not have two of them. Very bad for a very high end expensive like this. The restaurant Service was excellent. The rice flower winter vegetables and the New York sirloin were very disappointing. The angnolotti, the deserts and carpaccio were excellent. Do not think we would return.

Located in the Hilton and the decor shows, there were leather tablecloths for each table instead of linen, which would have been my preference. Valet parking is easy and they call them to bring your car up front as your leaving nice touch. However a few things of note that doesn’t meet Michelin rated fine dining, we arrived and were immediately seated and asked if we wanted flat or sparkling, we said sparkling however only got flat water, then the waiter asked if we had an allergies however they should have already known I have an allergy to walnuts (even Disney gets this right) as they had called and asked when my husband confirmed the reservation days before. We ordered the 4 course tasting menu with wine pairing. The food was okay, we live in LA and so are used to getting some of the best food on a regular basis, the fish tasted fishy, the pasta was amazing, vegetables that came with the steak weren’t that great. The sommelier was very knowledgeable and attentive. It was a good experience but we wouldn’t go back just wasn’t an amazing experience so not worth the money.

The food met expectations and the service was fine. However, a loud and obnoxious group of diners was seated at an adjacent table thereby spoiling the evening. The dining room staff did not know how to rein in the loud mouthed group until we and another group of diners complained. Then the sommelier did approach the group and helped decrease the decibels , but by then it was too late .The manager when summoned to the table was totally unapologetic and made a bad situation intolerable. This was not the dining experience one should expect or tolerate from a Michelin rated restaurant. Enjoy the food but bring earplugs ! Better yet, bring noise canceling headphones.

The food, the service everything was AMAZING not surprised why they are Michelin star restaurant. To be honest that was the only reason why we decided to visit and I don't regret it at all. My husband had the 9 course meal with the wine pairing and he said it was absolutely delicious. I had the 4 course meal and all the choices were excellent with the exception of the dessert (doughnuts and salted caramel ice cream) the ice cream was great but the doughnuts not so much. The only comment I have is that we were there for my husband's birthday and all they did was put a candle in a little candy with his last course I was expecting something a little nicer some fancy writing in his plate to say happy birthday or something like that but oh well there's nothing I can do about it. I totally recommend it.

What an amazing meal we had while dining for dinner with 4 of us. Beautiful decor, amazing food, chef prepared pre-fix with wine pairing was impeccable. Thank you for an awesome experience!
