We were in Napa for a wedding weekend and went with friends to Brix. The setting is beautiful, with lush flowers growing in the front of the restaurant as well as in the amazing "back yard." We were encouraged by the delightful manager to walk about the gardens, where he explained that the kitchen uses all of the fresh produce grown on the property for its menu. We were served wine on the garden patio, then were seated at a table on the covered area just outside the restaurant. The service was friendly and informed, and the food was fresh and did indeed include vegetables from their garden. Lamb was succulent, pasta was al dente, and everything tasted delicious.
