“Beautiful Winery, Great Views, and Very Talkative Pourers”
Reviewed August 15, 2013

The wine was great, when the pourer would stop talking to actually give us some. I think we waited 30 minutes for our last tasting of Merlot. But, he was passionate and friendly, just a little on the side of too much. Beautiful porch to sit out on and great views of the valley. Not too crowded.

“One to one experience on a huge property”
Reviewed April 10, 2013

This was our last stop in wine country and also our favorite! Alot of wine tasting staff seemed burnt out in the wineries we visited or rushing to make a sale. So glad we stumbled into this winery because we ended up with one of the most personable and knowledgable sommelier's we've ever had the pleasure of meeting. Sharing stories about California life, music festivals and tips for the road on our next stop as well as conversation/education on wines without being uptight or stuffy. Cabernet sauvignon is what our tasting expert raved about but to me the viogner is incredible~!

“Not the Best”
Reviewed December 24, 2012

Reata was a nice stop for a quick wine tasting. We sampled 5 wines (mixture whites and reds). We were impressed with the staff's knowledge of the region and the process. However, we weren't very impressed with how the staff treated us. Just seemed like we were the next customers. They weren't busy and not interested in interacting with us at all. It would've been nice to have a conversation, ask us some questions about our travels, etc. Needless to say we didn't purchase anything here. I doubt that we would go back, as there are many others in the area to try.

“Below average wine tasting”
Reviewed September 4, 2012 via mobile

Relatively new owners and wine maker. Red wines were not that good. Not recommended. We did get lucky and got a tour of their winemaking facility.
