We had a party of 8 for culinary and wine pairing. The package also included our participation in preparing the courses. The chefs and staff were very attentive, friendly, and, most importantly, fun. We thoroughly enjoyed the culinary education and the excellent food prepared and matched with the appropriate Signorello wine.

The staff made us feel at home and ensured that we had a great time. The food we prepared was delicious with the best, freshest ingredients available, including on-site grown vegetables. The wine pairing to the food was well done. The Padrone was excellent with our Kobe beef entree.

Bring your culinary skills, appetite, pallate, and fun card with you. :)

We went to this winery on the spur of the moment. The tasting room is small and very personal. We only saw two other couples the time we were there and there were only two employees present. My wife and I enjoyed this more than the other two wineries we visited on this trip as they were much larger and more impersonal. The tasting also included tasting a wine that sells for over $130/bottle. I've never been to another winery that let you taste that expensive of a wine. And that wine had the richest and fullest smell I have ever experienced.

This is a beautiful location on the hillside looking over the valley. Signorello has an infinity pool by the wood fired pizza oven and this would make a wonderful spot to have lunch. We were only here for a tasting in the tasting room. Our tasting guide was from France and had a beautiful accent. I could listen to her describe the wines all day. it was a very pleasant tasting but we were not blown away by the wines.

We visited the Signorello Winery a couple weeks ago and had a nice visit. This is a beautiful estate with a classic tasting room and a lovely patio area in back where you can enjoy wine/food pairing meals.

Here we tried the patio pairing which included 3 wine samples and a decent sized margherita pizza (US$30) and (US$38 for the reserve version). This was quite pricey for wine tasting but as it included a decent lunchtime meal at a patio table with a great vineyard views, how can one complain.

In terms of the wine, we were not in love with the whites but some of the reds went very well with the pizza. In particular we quite enjoyed their 2007 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon and the 2006 Padrone and ended up purchasing one bottle of the Padrone to take home for dinner that evening.

Overall, Signorello was a good visit and the pizza pairing seemed a good idea. We would recommend considering this winery if you are planning to visit estates along Silverado Trail and timing it to arrive around lunchtime so you can enjoy a nice patio side meal with your tasting.

I have been going to Napa Valley for 25 years but only dicsovered this gem of the winery recenntly. Perched on the top of the hill far off the Silverado trail, Signorello is a small boutique winery that only sells 6000 case per year primarily to their wine club memberes. Wines are superb and the view from the terrace ( open to wine club members only) are the best in the valley. Non members can enjoy having wine and pizza on the terrace as well and take in a gorgeous view of the valley.
