“A California Favorite!”
Reviewed November 10, 2012

We are members of the Gluttons and Gourmands club, but this was the first time we've done a full tour. We were not disappointed! The gardens (while sipping my favorite white - Abraxas) were lovely, even in late season, with tiny tomatoes sampled straight off the vine. This is an advantage of organic growing! The caves are beautiful and the smells of oak and newly made wines are heavenly. The paired nibbles with the wines showcase the range of RSV's red offerings from Pinot to cab franc, to Marcien and SLD. All were done in an unhurried patio setting with hawks soaring over the vineyards under a brilliant blue sky and warm fall sun. Our guides Kim and Erin were generously accommodating. Thank you Robert and Maria for a terrific visit. It is your vision of tying the wine to food and land that makes RSV so special.

“Beautiful Way to End a Napa Valley Day!”
Reviewed November 7, 2012

Sinskey's Winery is located just east of Yountville, California. The patio faces west and on a glorious 80F day in early November sipping a Sinskey 2007 Stags Leap Cab and watching the sun slipping over the hills , you'd think you were already in heaven!
Came from Santa Rosa over the hills to St. Helena. Check out the picture of Terra Valentine Vineyards on the way down into the valley. Wow!

Reviewed November 5, 2012

My sister belongs to this winery, so she toke us along for a tasting, It was in a beautiful area, and the few was wonderful. The staff was very informative and friendly. I also enjoyed the food they
served with the flight. I wish I lived closer to enjoy this winery again.

“Farm to Table Experience a Delight”
Reviewed November 3, 2012

The "Farm to Table" Experience was absolutely fantastic. We had a lovely hostess who gave us a brief tour of the garden and the facilities before seating us in a nice location outside. The food was beautifully done, so much so that we had to compliment the chef on our way out. Their rosemary almonds were so good we had to buy some to bring home. The creme fraiche ice cream at the end was delicious! The wines are wonderful, particularly the Abraxis (we've already enjoyed several bottles since we returned home). This was our 12th visit to wine country and we only do food and wine pairings. This will definitely be on our repeat list.

“Excellent Wine/Tasting”
Reviewed September 16, 2012

Went to this winery specifically because we had found their wines to be very European in style and distinctive. There is a charge here for the tasting, but is offered with an assortment of hors d'oevres and a very generous and knowledgeable hostess. There is a rebate on the tasting if wine is purchased, which we were more than happy to do! Try the Cabernet Franc especially, and you will not be disappointed. A great value and a great tasting - a combination of good wine and good food for a fair price. We split the tasting if visiting several wineries, so we get to sample just as many wines without getting inebriated and save a few $ too.
