Located on 1st Street where parking is limited. Use either the free parking garage by Kohls or park and walk over from 2nd street at School where there are plenty of spots.
Interior is nicely done in modern design that does, however, tend to amplify the noise levels when crowds are present.
The menu is definitely Mediterranean with Greek influence showing through. We had the braised short ribs and caramelized scallop plates. They were both fantastic! Their presentation on the plate was beautiful and actually added to the full experience of enjoying them. As a starter we had the Meze combination plate that is a meal in itself.
Our server was attentive, friendly, accommodating and efficient. We'll ask for him next time.
The wine list is extensive. The beer list is minimal. I paired a Trumer Pils with my scallops. The contrasting and complimentary flavors between the two combined to make the overall taste experience outstanding.
After all of this we were offered, and enjoyed, a free dessert of gelato and baklava.
When in Napa - go to Tarla for a fine dining experience at a reasonable price.
