This restaurant is in one of the oldest adobes in Northern California! It has been a bar for a few years but now it is a nepalese restaurant. This interior is intimate, white somewhat stark but also warm. The servers were very nice and helpful. I had a spicey (yes it was) pulled goat, very good with rice and rosemary naan (excellent). Appetizers of lamb pot stickers and beet salad with a wonderful cheese. All very well done. Mango Lassi, nepalese beer for drinks. All very good. It is similar to Indian food but a little more rustic, all good.

We had dinner at Taste of the Himalayas on our first night in Napa. We had pulled goat, saag paneer, and rosemary naan. All perfectly cooked and quite delicious. I would definitely recommend it for a low-key, tasty dinner.

We went down an alley off of Sonoma Square and thought the posted menu looked good. When we ordered, the waiter said both of our choices had tandoori lamb and he suggested for only a dollar more the rack of lamb. That was a fantastic suggestion as the lamb was absolutely delicious. My husband said that his taste buds hadn't been that excited in a long time. The naan was great. The lamb curry was also good and my husband practically licked the bowl as he finished it for me.

Decided to check this out based on a recommendation. Had the lamb mom's (like a pot sticker) and the tandoori chicken. Also the Beet salad and some other dish that is actually Tibetan. All were VERY good and had great flavor- it was a nice change from the usual. Small place, about 14 tables, historic old adobe building, friendly staff, service was good. Price moderate- with dessert and drinks (no alc) it was about $60. They have a good wine list and a buy one, get a free corkage if you bring one.
