On business as a solo traveler, I had dinner here Saturday night 11/2. I squeezed into the last bar stool in a loud, jam-packed, trendy hot-spot.
Folks all around me were friendly & talkative, more than happy to swap stories. Despite the crowd, the main bartender, Nick, was attentive, quick & efficient. Although the restaurant is a wine bar with a large menu of wine by the bottle & by the glass, I quaffed an excellent draft Heroine IPA. My food was small, simple & delicious: ahi tuna tartar with a duck egg on the side (which I spread over the tartar to great effect), and a "shot" of squash soup that was so good that I then I ordered a cup.
The man dining to my right offered me a slice of his artisan pizza, which was unusual, spicy & terrific. FYI, the pizzas are small enough to serve as entrées for one.
The menu looked inviting enough that I'll be back.
