This "French Country Inn" was also listed as a B & B. If you're looking for a traditional B & B, this is not is it. It was ok, but not the romantic spot we were hoping for. Price for value was adequate, as the room was very large and comfortable. The missing element s were hospitality and ambiance. It did not have a warm welcoming feel - it was more like a small chain hotel. Overall, not bad, but left us wishing for more.

My wife and I stayed here with 2 friends. It's a good bed and breakfast in napa valley. The rooms were nicely decorated and it's in a good spot. It's a 1 mile walk to downtown napa. Also, they have wine tasting between 5-7 which was good way to socialize with other tourists (we got a good recommendation on some restaurants on PCH 101).

We were in the cheapest room, right in front of the reception, but we didn't hear anything of the night. From the window, we saw the parking or the street. However, the room was large and very comfortable. There was a 5@7 where we could taste 6 wines and eat a little. Good place to stay.

Everything at this property was wonderful. Breakfast was delicious and the evening wine and cheese. Location made it convient to go to the wineries and downtown. The Napa Outlets are about 3 minutes from the hotel, which was great for the wife. The only negative part of the trip was our experience with the evening clerk, David. He is rude, will not be accomodating to help, will cut you off, very cold, tells you to speak to the morning shift since he doesn't know anything. If you stay at this property I would advise to speak to Mary Alice,Sonia or Eboni, they were the ones that gave us the 5 star attention.

We stayed here recently and we liked the friendliness, the wine/social hour (they had serveral wines and a lot of cold h'ordorves), and the small but good breakfasts. The hotel was very clean, and the rooms are updated and the amenites are new. We did not like the location (about a mile from Downtown, and on a busy street) and also the thin walls. We could hear the couples above and next door very well. The shower is also very strange to turn on. Whenever a car passed, the exhaust was loud, you may want to bring earplugs. Granted, we our room was on the first floor, so of course we heard others coming and going at all hours (I don't recomend this floor at all) but what was super annoying was the staff on the last day put each call on speaker phone, both outgoing and incoming, so we heard at least 20 different conversations (loud, talking about reservations, what's wrong with their room, things to do in the area, you get the point) all between the hours of 8am-10am, and we were just trying to get a little sleep! I didn't hate this hotel, but did not love it either. I may return, but not on the first floor!
