This theatre is beautiful! The painted ceiling is such a nice touch. Great stage size, love being so close to the artists. And of course, Amazing Sound!

“It's about time!!”
Reviewed November 13, 2012

We waited and waited for the theatre to reopen, and for good reason. It's a friendly hall with great acts!! The folks booking the performers have chosen selectively and wisely, and presented some very intelligent choices.
The acoustics are marvellous, the staff are awesome, and thank goodness I don't have to drive to S.F. anymore for shows like Mayer Hawthorne and John Hiatt and Chris Isaak.
Thank you Uptown!!

“Intimate concert venue with incredible acoustics”
Reviewed November 5, 2012

We were fortunate enough to attend the inaugural concert here - when Boz Scaggs stopped his performance to rave abut the venue and the acoustics, we knew we had found a new favorite. They have a nice variety of music and some comedy, the old movie theatre has been lovingly restored, the seats are comfortable and sufficiently terraced that even short people like me can see over the person in front of me! Not only that, but they actually serve reasonably-priced wine at the bar that you would want to drink! Too bad it has to be in plastic cups, but I understand the reasons why. There is ample parking within a short walk, and many outstanding restaurants in the downtown Napa area, which is experiencing a tremendous resurgence. If you don't leave as close as we do (half an hour), there are also many hotels in the area, from reasonable to very expensive. My only complaint is that they don't release their schedule as much in advance as I would like. We had already purchased Chris Isaak tickets at a venue almost 2 hours away from home when they announced he would be performing here! If you like live music, you owe it to yourself to check this place out.

“Live at the Vineyard”
Reviewed November 5, 2012

This is an amazing theatre. Every seat is a good seat. The interior of the theatre is very well maintained and there are two bars, one at each end of the entrance that handles the patrons. With a seating capacity of 900, it is still a very intimate experience.
