We stayed in a cottage there and the accommodations were fantastic! Bed was comfortable. Lit the gas fireplace every night. The breakfast was great and not your usually big greasy country breakfast like you usually get, instead we got things like smoked salmon hash, wonderful. The staff are amazing and think of your every need before you do. Even helped us to mail back our wine(there was a lot). Will never stay any where else in Napa Valley.

We stayed in the Fowler cottage for 2 nights and could not have had a better experience. The rooms were very clean with updated amenities. When we checked in the owner gave us a quick tour and was very welcoming and helpful which was nice. Most of the time you are just another customer but we never got that vibe. The staff always had recommendations for us which was great cause we didn't plan ahead much. My wife who is a "foodie" loved the breakfasts and of course I did too! You can't go wrong with this one! It was a little higher priced than what we were originally looking for but after our trip we felt like we got our money's worth!

This purpose designed inn is closer to a boutique hotel than a bed and breakfast with the added charm of a hostess who clearly loves to share the secrets of Napa. The charm lies in the detail, the softest sheets, the gorgeous toiletries, the towels, the substantial breakfast, quality loose leaf teapots and the spot on recommendations for wineries, restaurants and things to do in the area. The rooms are beautifully decorated, the gardens are exquisite and the location is close to the central town. If you require complete tranquility choose one of the stand alone cottages as the rooms in the old house are creaky and not sound proof but this is a minor point in an otherwise perfect stay.

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights last week along with his 2 sisters, 1 brother and spouses. The inn was beautiful!! We didn't want to leave. In fact, if we didn't have a reservation in San Fran, we would have tried to stay another night. My husband and I stayed in the Randolf cottage. The heated floors, fireplace, jacuzzi tub and silky sheets were pure luxury!! We spent the day wine tasting in Napa and were greeted with a wine and cheese platter and more wine when we returned to the inn. The wine there was more delish than the wineries! If I were to make one small suggestion, I would say that the inn should offer guests a more hearty breakfast. We are big time foodies and the gluten free thing didn't really float our boat. But, that wouldn't prevent me from going back in a heartbeat or recommending family and friends to stay there. I am already talking it up to a friend who is thinking of taking a getaway next summer. Loved it !!

We stayed there for 2 nights in early May and I wish we could have stayed longer. Everything about this place was fantastic from the great rooms to the great hospitality. I was pleased by the breakfast every morning; in the past most bed and breakfasts I have been to have had bagels and fruit but the Inn on Randolph served a delicious hot breakfast. The staff was friendly and very helpful and the presence of the owner made you understand how much they care about their business.
I would totally recommend this location for your Napa visit and when I get a chance to get back to Napa I will for sure stay there again!

My wife and I originally planned to stay at the Inn on Randolph for three nights. Once we found out that “Bottle Rock” was planned for the same weekend, we quickly changed our plans. Since we were both set on staying at the Inn during our first visit to Napa, we canceled all but one night.

We arrived at SFO a bit behind schedule and picked up our rental to head to Napa. Since this was our first time in San Francisco, we greatly underestimated the traffic situation. We landed a little after three and it took us from baggage claim to the Inn approximately 3.5 hours. Maybe we didn’t take the best route – though it had been recommended!

While stuck in traffic, I frantically called the Inn to inform them we wouldn’t make the six o’clock check in cutoff. The staff calmed our nerves and told us to take our time and promised to be there once we arrived. We pulled up to the home and had to take a minute to fully view the front lawn and landscaping… absolutely beautiful. We rang the doorbell and were shown in and given a full tour of the house and grounds (which were all beautifully decorated).

We were then showed to our room (Hannah Moore) which is located just inside the front door at the bottom of the stairs. The room is extremely spacious and the modern updates allow the home’s original character to shine through. The shower and heated tile floor in the bathroom as well as the large windows were highlights of the suite.

The Inn has a box of direction cards to local restaurants. We already had reservations at Oenotri so we were given walking instructions to the restaurant. The room also had a small flashlight to take on walks as the sidewalks are a bit uneven (another nice touch). After dinner the free bottle of wine provided in the room as well as the tea / coffee area was greatly appreciated. What a great night’s rest…

Breakfast the next day was delicious. Though the portions of the main warm plate were a bit small, the fruit, yogurt, and homemade granola made up for it! During breakfast we were given a few coupons by the staff and recommendations based on our itinerary and taste.

Checkout was quick and easy. This was by far the best overnight experience we have had away from home! We will most definitely return to this Inn!

We try very hard to personally check in all of our guests even our late arrivals, and were happy to wait and make sure you were settled for the evening. We know how stressful traffic can be especially at the beginning of vacation. Glad you enjoyed your stay!

Karen

My fiance and I went to Napa for the first time this April. The minute we walked through the front door we were in love with the Inn. It is absolutely beautiful! The staff were wonderful and extremely accommodating. Karen, the owner, and her staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was enjoyable. This was definitely one of the best experiences we have ever had! If you plan on visiting Napa, I highly recommend staying at the Inn on Randolph. You won't be disappointed!
