“Best bed and breakfast in napa!”
Reviewed July 4, 2012 via mobile

With my wife in the luxury hotel business in las Vegas, we have stayed at some of the best resorts in the world and this b and b is simply splendid! We travel to naps all the time and went there to visit some friends in napa and the service was attentive, the whole b and b is clean and modern, and Karen the owner was wonderful. The food and coffee was delicious! We will be back soon to this little secret!

We came across Inn on Randolph through recommendations from other B&Bs in the area, and after reading the reviews on this site, decided to book our stay for a weekend trip leading up to the 4th of July. This place was perfect for the two of us, who were looking to relax after a few long months of work and who haven't explored Napa before. We were greeted by Karen, who gave us a tour of the house - which is renovated and restored beautifully, and showed us some great hospitality.

We stayed in the Willow Room, which was advertised as the smallest room in the house, but it was the perfect size for us. Kudos to Karen for her interior design expertise and for decorating the room with cool, calming colors. It looked like a Pottery Barn catalog. We were also given a small bottle of wine from Frog's Leap, which helped make this trip have a great beginning. Each morning, we had a gourmet breakfast downstairs with the other guests, and had reservations and restaurant recommendations from Karen. Come to breakfast ready to eat - the Greek yogurt and homemade granola are to die for. With her help, we visited Frog's Leap winery, Mumm, Robert Mondavi, and Caymus, and dined at Morimoto, and our favorite, Bottega. And when we were tired, there was the very comfortable bed and sheets to lay on in the evenings. We can't say it enough that the sheets felt like butter!

Overall, the Inn was a wonderful stay for us to begin our Napa trip. We explored the other premium resorts in the Napa Valley, but in the end, felt the hospitality, service and comfort we felt here surpassed the others.

The Inn on Randolph could be the best B&B I have ever stayed at. The decor is clean, crisp, and beautifully redone while still maintaining the classic Napa charm. The service was impeccable and the staff was warm and welcoming making sure your every need was taken care of. Moreover, the food served was delicious and they were able to alter the menu for dietary restrictions if needed.

I am definitely going to return to the Inn on Randolph when I travel to Napa again!

Our stay at the Inn on Randolph surpassed our expectations. The clean lines and quality finishes throughout the inn create open spaces conducive to complete relaxation. Wall colors, moldings and light fixtures all echo the vintage era in which the inn was originally constructed, yet feel completely modern. The innkeepers anticipated our every need by graciously offering suggestions for dining and wineries to visit, as well as attending to detail in the room’s amenities. Breakfast was delicious - hot, fresh dishes as well as fruit and wonderful housemade granola. The loose-leaf tea was a special treat - (not a Lipton tea bag was to be found!) The Inn is located a short walk from downtown Napa and the river - full of charming restaurants and shops. We have stayed in other Napa B&Bs, but our next Napa getaway will be a return trip to this lovely location.

The Inn on Randolph is wonderful! Under new ownership, it has just undergone renovations too and is absolutely beautiful. My boyfriend and I spent a weekend there to celebrate his birthday and were very impressed by our beautiful cottage - complete with oh-so-comfortable bed and sheets, a sitting area with fully stocked pod coffee maker, and private outdoor lounging space with a nice fountain. Every detail of the facilities have been attended to - relaxing decor, rock fireplace, spa tub, and nice landscaping.

Karen, the new owner, lets no detail go unnoticed. Before we arrived, she had provided some beverages and cream for the coffee in the room's fridge. She even welcomed us and the other guests with a wine and cheese evening. Furthermore, before our stay, Karen reached out and provided some great restaurant, winery and activity recommendations.

Conveniently located walking distance from great restaurants and wine bars in downtown Napa and a short drive away from all of the Napa valley wineries, I would absolutely recommend staying here. We are looking forward to another opportunity to return!

I highly recommend the Inn of Randolph. It was so comfortable and clean and our hostess Sally was amazing! If you are someone who appreciates the architecture of classic homes you will love this Inn. The owners have taken great care in modernizing this home while maintaining the classic details that are so special to homes of this era. There is so much attention to detail! It's like Martha Stewart went on a shopping spree at Pottery Barn and Restoration Hardware and decorated this home. Simply lovely. The service and food were wonderful. We will visit again in the future!

My husband and I stayed in the Washington room during Memorial Day weekend and it exceeded all of our expectations. Karen and her husband were the ideal inn-keepers, they give you your privacy but also are friendly and offer fantastic reccommendations and go above and beyond for their guests. The Inn and the grounds are gorgeous, they were beautifully renovated with modern conveniences while still keeping the historical charm. The bed was amazingly comfortable and the fireplace that turned on with a quick switch made us feel so cozy on the chilly nights. Loved the 5p wine and cheese happy hour - definitely a great touch. Inn has a perfect location - less than a 5 minute safe walk right into downtown. No reason to stay right in downtown Napa as it shuts down by 9p everynight, so it's ideal to stay in a neighborhood inn loaded with charm like Inn on Randolph! Would definitely be back
