We had a business dinner the night before our meeting at this place and it was a very good start for our meeting. Nice choices of dishes and fish was prepared perfectly - with fish as the feature and not some heavy sauce. Excellent appetizers - we had three different ones and they were all very good. Nice choices of wines (all range of pricing and appellation) and service was attentive and helpful.

Tough to rate this after so many wonderful restaurants in Napa. This was our last meal here and we wanted something light. The Gazpacho was fantastic, made with heirloom tomatoes. So refreshing. The shrimp Louie salad was good, but a bit heavy handed with the dressing, which I forgot to request on the side. My husband had the fish and chips which he enjoyed, but looked heavy to me. Service was ok, they needed more support for patio diners as our waitress was quite busy both inside and out. Overall a good menu with many seafood options.

After a day of wine tastings Fish Story was a good choice for relaxing fish meal in sight of the river in a light/airy atmosphere. Corking fee for wine we brought was waived because we bought a bottle off their list. Choices of scallops, salmon and fish and chips were all good, the latter cooked to perfection. Heirloom tomato and burrata salad was fantastic ( it is top tomato season here). Desserts of chocolate mousse and soft serve sundae with toffee sauce and chopped almonds could not be passed up and were well worth it. Tables outside with heaters looked comfortable though we opted to sit inside. Great service, no complaints.

Spent a night in Napa and went to Fish Story for dinner. After a short wait we were seated at a nice window seat. Our server was very nice and very knowledgeable. Our dinner was lovely--had a great time.

Our daughter made reservations for us to celebrate our 50th anniversary. The lobby and bar were full with waiting guests but we went to the head of the line. Aswe were escorted to the table every server made a point to say happy anniversary to us. The legal size card stock menu had Happy 50th Anniversary written across the top - what a nice touch! The wait staff was very knowledgable, friendly and prompt. We had oysters and calamari for appetizers. I had the seared scallops which I can say we're the best I have ever had ... And the presentation was delightful! My husband had the half Maine lobster which he devoured. Especially unique is that they have wine on tap! We were able to have several different wines - as recommended by our server. A very wonderful evening after a hot air balloon ride the day before! Wish we lived closer.
