Delicious seafood that's sustainably harvested is the focus of the restaurant. It did not fail to deliver. The ambiance is modern, with a walk through sports bar. The spacious airy restaurant had attentive and informed staff. The clam chowder had a great seafood taste, and was light on potatoes and cream. The lobster was very tender, and the fish and chips moist but crisp. The dessert winner hands down was the butterscotch pudding.

It is the last afternoon of our vacation in CA. We wish we could arrive earlier or stay longer in Napa. It is really a lovely and quiet town. We sit in Fish Story almost 2pm, but they still serve lunch. The tuna and other seafood is fresh and delicious. The outdoor seats are comfortable. Hope we will visit there again.

Enjoyed delicious tuna ceviche and kabocha (Japanese pumpkin) there and my dinner friend had trout. The ceviche was unique - never had it prepared with tuna before - yes it was an appetihozer wever the poriton was tiny. Came with yummy taro chips which was a unique presentation. Side rder of kobocha was really oily but good flavor otherwise. Nice ambiance even though we were seated in the bar area it was by a window and quiet. Modern with a variety of menu options that span themes so everyone can find something appealing.

We went here by default, after traveling for a week, we forgot it was now the weekend and would be more difficult to just walk in to a restaurant without reservations. This was no exception but they were the most cordial on the phone about trying to fit us in if we came and didn't mind a seat in the bar area. When we arrived, we were put on a list for a table and ordered drinks but the bar was full. Luckily, they allow you to enjoy your drinks in one of their patio areas, while we waited. After a short time, the bar opened up and we decided to have an appetizer and wait for a table in the dining room, as it was much more picturesque than the (too) small, dark and loud bar area. The female bartender who first waited on us was much more attentive and cordial than her male counterpart who seemed annoyed, indifferent and got orders wrong or forgot them all together. Luckily, the wait for our table was much shorter than planned and we were seated and served wonderful food by a lovely and courteous waitress. The Halibut was perfectly cooked and very flavorful and the bone in strip steak juicy and delicious. The view of the moon glistening on the river was gorgeous-I wish we discovered the riverfront, with its shops and townhouses, sooner but were leaving the Valley the following day. Go early, take a stroll but make reservations!

Great place for fresh fish, and also kid friendly. Staff is perfect, friendly and service was outstanding. Food is served hot and not a long wait. Reservations highly recommended. This is a great restaurant when visiting Napa.
