The hotel is beautiful, the grounds are beautiful, the rooms are interesting and beautiful. The staff is incredibly helpful and responsive (I had an issue with my bag - totally my own fault - and they went way out of their way to help me solve the problem.) The conference room is comfortable and they provided coffee/tea and water, plus notepads and pens. We felt "taken care of" in many small ways. The result was a great retreat.
They provided a GREAT continental breakfast and I was really sorry that I didn't have time to do more than grab a croissant and run.
My only complaint is that the beds weren't very comfortable. Four of us woke up with back pain or having not slept well. My bed was lumpy and the mattress seemed old, while the luxurious bedding was new-ish.
