I grew up in Napa, when the building now housing Anette's was the Partrick's candy and ice cream shop. The chocolates were great, and the ice cream was the best. Luckily for Napa, Anette's continues the tradition. The chocolates are pricey but excellent, but it's the ice cream that keeps me coming back. I am so grateful that they continue to make the Mint Truffle flavor; I grew up on it, and have never seen anything like it elsewhere. Even the crunchy sugar cones seem better at Anette's. If you really want something decadent, they make sundaes with their house-made chocolate sauces, and throw in a chocolate or two. The servers are always cute and friendly young people, who seem to love dipping ice cream. You can also sample the sauce flavors, which include some yummy wine and chocolate combinations. Long live Anette's!
