This is a great winery with a relaxed laid back tasting experience. Every wine that we tasted were excellent.. they are big, bold, juicy and smooth with lingering finish.. We are mostly cab fan, but even their Merlot was amazing.. having tasted at some big names in Napa, I think their wines r truly amazing.. we loved it so much that we took the membership. Looking forward to our shipment.

We visited 6 vineyards for tastings while in the Napa area. O’Brien was by far the most enjoyable. Very personal tasting and some of the best wine we had. A must see!

My husband and I were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and since this was our first trip to Napa, I wanted it to be a memorable. With over 450 wineries to choose from, I will be forever grateful that the O'Brien Estate Winery was recommended to us.

Imagine our delight when we realized that Bart O'Brien, one of the owners, would be our tour guide. As we sipped their incredible wines, Bart shared the history of the winery with us along with his deep love for his wife, Barb. Not only are the wines named after the poems he has written to his wife, but the poetry is featured on the back of each wine bottle. I was moved to tears listening to Bart talk about his wife and family. One of the best parts of our visit was talking about Ireland with Bart. As the owner of the winery, I'm sure he had other duties to tend to, but he never once seemed to mind getting off topic.

Of the 10 wineries we visited during our trip, our stop to the O'Brien's was the highlight of our trip. We felt like we were visiting family and we cannot wait to return! Two recommendations I have, be sure to make a reservation (there are no walk ins) and join the wine club. You will be thankful you did both.

O’Brien was the first winery visit of our trip, and it set the bar quite high for the rest of our stops. Luis was an outstanding host, and it was very nice of Bart O’Brien to come out and introduce himself as we tasted his wines (he and his wife live on the property). Never thought I could have enjoyed a Merlot so much - went back on the way to the airport to grab a bottle after realizing it was the best of our trip! Would highly recommend

What a great experience! Michelle our host for the tasting was a delight. Some of the best wines we had tried all weekend. The setting is very intimate and the one on one experience was perfect. She took us through the vineyard and let us taste the grapes still on the vines. So glad we found O'Brien Estate a true gem.
