“Date Night in Napa”

Some dear friends recommended this restaurant. From the reservations to the service we had a great experience. The food was top notch as well as the specialty cocktails. We had to wait a bit for our table but was no big deal. The "Daily" Truckstop entree was divine. The Lamb dish superb. The Pork Chop was the best. All local farm to table as you might expect with great attention to detail. Our Server was fantastic! Very knowledgeable and helpful. With local wine how could you go wrong. Great experience. Great Job Cindy P!

“Yummy!”
Reviewed August 5, 2013

A must do in Napa. Great food and service! I will definitely be back! We went there on our first night and just had appetizers. We regretted that the entire trip. Everything on the menu seemed awesome and everything we ordered was delicious. We wished we would have planned on it for another day. Don't miss it!

“Two great meals”
Reviewed August 4, 2013

Had two fantastic meals here, one lunch and one dinner. Service was excellent at both meals, and I had dinner at the bar by myself one night and the bartender was very attentive (even on a busy Friday night) and was gracious with letting me bring a bit of wine in with me (I did buy a bottle from the list, too.) The onion rings are incredible, and the fish tostada is a bit clumsy to eat, but delicious. Very good wine list. I like that this restaurant has managed to stay fresh despite having been around for many years, and still executes very well.

“Great eatery in Napa”
Reviewed August 3, 2013

We had been told by friends to eat here and it did not disappoint. Make reservations if possible. We had to wait about 40 minutes, but it was a pleasure. They have their own garden on the property and we walked through it and then sat on the benches outside under an umbrella while we waited. The garden has lots of foods they use in their cooking as well as some spectacular flowers.
The decor of the restaurant makes you feel as though you're on vacation - which we were. Very casual. We were there for lunch. It is pricey but delicious. I had the turkey and avocado sandwich and my husband had the ribs. We split so we could try both. We both agreed it was one of the best sandwiches we have ever eaten. And his ribs were delicious. And they brought us warm wet napkins to wipe our fingers when we finished.
highly recommend it.

“This is my favorite Restaurant in California”
Reviewed August 2, 2013

I have been going to this restaurant for years. If you are looking for absolutely mouth-watering foods including oak-wood grilled sturgeon, great wines, and excellent deserts and, at the same time, don't want to enter an overly pretentious environment...this is your restaurant. You will rub shoulders with local winery owners, dot.com owners, tourists, etc. However, everything is relaxed and you can sit at the bar and strike up conversations with a diverse set of wine tasters. This is not the French Laundry..thank god...!!! But trust me, you will leave this restaurant feeling good, yet not stuffed to the gills.
