Portions are tiny and not worth the hefty sum you pay. Ambiance does not make up for it either. Service is wonderful but still doesn't substantiate $30 a plate. Don't waste your money.

Had a very pleasant evening here on our first night staying at the meritage resort. It was nice not to have to go out after a long day driving. The meal was very nice, but that's all really. Nice staff, very helpful and friendly.

Service was very good, the food was delicious even though the lack of seasoning was surprising. I only had breakfast here and even though the eggs were cooked to perfection, I found the breakfast potatoes very odd. Not hash browns or traditional breakfast potatoes, but more like one that was whole and had been boiled.

The food didn't amaze and for the price should have had more pizzaz. My friend didn't enjoy her meal and ended up eating at another place later on.

Okay, so it was a long drive and all you want is a nice meal, a glass or three of wine and some space and time to ease into the weekend...that was our situation and Siena was perfect.
We checked into the hotel earlier and after a few minutes decided we could not make it downtown and reluctantly went to the hotel dining room.
If that is your situation: do NOT hesitate. The food, service was great!

The Burata with strawberries was one starter, and the other a Butter, or Boston Bibb salad which was very good, simple but very good.

Mains: Gnocchi and Ravioli....both were great!...
the service by Rafael, was quiet, assured, and he made appropriate recommendations in both wine and food.

A great start for the stay...the hotel could learn a thing or two from Siena
