We stayed one night in Napa at the Silverado while touring wine country. We upgraded to a suite with two double beds, kitchen, living room and patio with a view of the golf course. The room was beautiful and clean. Robes were a nice touch. The staff was very friendly. We ordered room service and the food was very good. The beds were so comfortable. We also swam in 1 of the 10 pools which was very nice. It would have been nice if breakfast was included. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Napa.

The Silverado in NAPA – This is the place to stay for your next vacation to NAPA! Amazing grounds – the golf course was world class with its historic views of the valley and also the towering trees. It has a beautiful Historic lodge / main building with warm and gracious service everywhere. It has a feel of a classic movie set but with all the modern amenities you desire.
We had our best lunch in the valley on the back deck of the Grill restaurant overlooking the golf course – amazing Mango Pepper Salas fish taco’s with fresh Ice Tea… amazing… The spa provided first class service – we did the couples message and had a great time – the staff was professional and very accommodating. Conveniently located to both sides of the valley – you can be at your first vineyard in minutes.. I will definitely stay at the Silverado again – we had a fantastic time!!

Room Tip: Go to the Grill for Lunch!! Book your Golf - to start every morning!!!

I made my first visit to Silverado in April. My son joined me and we played both the South and the North courses. The North has been updated by Johnny Miller and was a good test. The South Course is not to be overlooked. Both are extremely enjoyable, in excellent condition and have the hills of Napa for a backdrop.

The location can't be beat. We visited Darioush (don't miss this one), Stags Leap Cellars, Luna, and Black Stallion and didn't get five miles from our room.Ten minutes and you're on Main St. in Napa.

In jJune I went back with my wife and had a totally different experience. We did a couples package at the spa that was top notch

On both trips the rooms were immaculate, the food was really good and the service was on point.

Room Tip: On the first trip our room faced to the North. Really spectacular view

This resort has suites that appear to be timeshare properties so each suite had different fixtures, carpet, kitchens, etc. The problem I found with the property is that the air filters appear to never get changed and the one in the bathroom is clearly visible as the dust/mold is very evident to an untrained eye. With allergies, this room just not acceptable. I asked housekeeping to change the filter and 4 days/3 nights later - no change of filter occurred. I was stuffy the entire time. The bed cover had a nasty stain on it so it made me very leery of sitting anywhere in the suite.

While I enjoyed the two golf courses and the outdoor golf staff, I didn't feel that the welcome as a Troon member. I was disappointed that they did not participate in the Troon card events (like 2-1) except awarding points. I will suggest that for those golfing, try the hamburger dog.

Reservations was very helpful as three of us were together and they did get us suites close together which was fabulous. The location was great for the visits to the winery.

Overall this is gets an average rating as I expected more for the money - cleaner suites with clean filters for starters. My comparison would be this suite made me feel like I was in a cheap high rise on Daytona Beach.

Room Tip: Ask for suites that are newly renovated or updated.

I am sorry to hear that we did not completely meet your expectations on this visit. I have shared your comments about the air filter with our Engineering Department who will make sure that the filter is changed promptly. I do apologize that the filter was not replaced upon your request.

We are glad to hear you enjoyed our "burger dogs" out on the golf course! They are very popular and definitely well known around the area.

Thanks for your feedback, we do hope that we will see you back at Silverado in the future.

The Silverado Resort was excellent. Personnel were exceptional. Special recognition to Dominique at the concierges desk for arranging our private wine tour.

Accommodations were clean, but starting to show their age. The resort is planning a significant upgrade over the next year, so future visitors should ask for rooms that have undergone renovations.

My husband and I was visiting our son in the Silicon Valley area and wanted to visit Napa for a few days. The Silverado Resort was great, for our short getaway. If you stay at this resort you need a car. We were only there for 2 days, so reserving a room with the resort was Ok. At the time I didn't know that this would be a 2nd bedroom of a two bedroom unit. If you plan to stay in the area for a while you would want to reserve one of the larger accommodations.

Pulled into the main entrance and was greeted by the view of the Mansion. We were there early and pleasantly surprised that we could check in. Enrique loaded our luggage into a cart and drove us to our room. We had the good fortune of having one of the newly renovated condos, main sliding doors overlooking the driving range and first tee on the north course. The room itself was all you could ask for, fully appointed kitchen with stainless steel appliances, bedding from heaven and a shower that I'm currently looking to duplicate in my own home .
Lynda in the pro shop set me up with a twilight tee time on the newly renovated north course with Callaway rentals, shoes , a glove and half dozen balls.
Dinner at The Oak was superb, Jimmy was great. We were seated by the window overlooking the 18 green (south course I think). Both nights, while out for dinner, we came back to our find our room tidied up, bed turned down and chocolates on the night stand.
Nice place to stay for a relaxing time, great golf and friendly staff that look after all your needs.

Whether you come to the Northern California area for relaxation, adventure or business, find it here. Located just an hour north of San Francisco, Silverado is tucked away from the city while still being close to the Bay Area action. The soothing, full-service spa sets the stage for relaxing comfort, offering massages, facials, manicures, pedicures and more. But there's more to Silverado Resort and Spa than just soothing stays. Two PGA championship golf courses, which are overseen by World Golf Hall of Fame member, lead golf analyst for NBC Sports, and resort co-owner Johnny Miller, 13 lighted tennis courts, and biking and hiking trails on-site ensure excitement at every corner. And thanks to its Napa Valley Wine Country location, it's all close to more than 400 wineries. The fine and casual dining within the resort's restaurants pair nicely with local wines. The elegant styling and picturesque Northern California views makes it one of the most sought after wedding venue destinations as well.
