This hotel is NOT walking distance to anything, but I still love it. It's beautiful, clean, and the breakfast is amazing. The staff is extremely friendly and make me feel welcome every time i visit, which is a lot. One of my favorites!!

I chose this hotel for the low cost compared to others in the area, the glowing reviews and it's location near Hwy 12. I couldn't have found a more perfect place. Knowing I was traveling alone and would be checking in late at night I was looking for a safe, clean and friendly place that I wouldn't have to search for in the dark.

The property is situated on the outskirts of Napa right alongside Hwys 29 & 12. There was plenty of parking with sufficient lighting and the desk clerk was very friendly and professional; however, the best part was the room. Beautiful! When you walk in there's a lounge with a mini sofa, chair, desk and kitchenette complete with sink, mini-fridge and microwave. Plus the sink has a faucet large enough to easily place a water bottle under for refills. Behind a small partition is a comfy bed and large bathroom. For those who cannot travel without TV, you'll appreciate the flat screen situated between the lounge and bed areas where you only have to adjust the angle and you can watch from the sofa or bed.

To top it off the place was immaculate. They even took steps to assure travelers of the cleanliness by wrapping the cups in plastic! I had no issue walking on the floor barefoot and the white sheets on the bed were clearly fresh with down pillows. I heard minimal noise from my neighbors (only the tub being engaged for a short period).

In the morning I took full advantage of their full, hot breakfast. There were plenty of options, though heavy on the carbs, If you're gluten free, I recommend avoiding the eggs (powdered); however, there is oatmeal (with a couple of topping options), yogurt, fruit, spinach, shredded cheese, coffee and milk. For those who aren't, there's biscuits and gravy, make-it-yourself waffles, cereal, toast, etc.

Overall a delightful and safe stay. This wasn't my first stay in a Springhill Suites hotel and it's won't be my last. Consistently wonderful!

We were very happy with our stay here. Suite was a little small, but everything else was more than adequate & very comfortable, esp. the beds.
The rear garden was very pleasant. Huge lobby area. Breakfast every morning only until 9am, unfortunately (no chance to sleep in!)
Helpful & friendly staff.
Love the price!
I would come back.

Good location for seeing Napa and Sonoma. Located at the south end of wine country. New property. No need to overpay by staying at the Westin, Fairmont, etc. Very comfortable. Everything is new; nicely done. Good bar with appetizers. Pool is nice. Lots of parking. Helpful, friendly staff.

My husband and I spent last weekend at the Springhill Marriott Suites. The suite consisted of a living room seating area with wet bar/small refrigerator, and bedroom/full bathroom. Bed was comfortable, there were enough plug-ins, and free internet is available. This hotel also offers breakfast, and has a full bar open until 11:00 p.m. in the lobby. The property is beautiful, and if you like to run, there are roadways with very little traffic (in the mornings) located nearby. The front desk was very friendly and responsive. The only "criticism" I have is there were no wine glasses within the hotel room, but they were readily available at the bar. While we did not spend lots of time at the hotel, we will definitely come again!

We just returned from a five night stay at the Spring Hill Suites. As other reviewers have mentioned, Spring Hill Suites is outside the town of Napa. While that is indeed true, there are few accommodations that are actually within the town of Napa. We were looking to get the most for our money, and that is exactly what we got. The location was actually convenient if you plan on visiting wineries in Sonoma and the towns north of there. Only two roads take you east or west over the mountains. This hotel is very close to the southern route, and will save you time if you plan on visiting many of the delightful wineries on the west side. Traffic noise from the highway is a slight issue, but the windows did a pretty good job of insulating the noise. It may disturb a very light sleeper but most would not have a problem. What may disturb you is the frightful door slamming. It really is my only complaint about the property.
The hotel is spotlessly clean, from the public facilities to the suites, the property is excellently maintained. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I have stayed at higher end hotels and not received the pleasant service I did here. As other suite hotels, the mini-fridge and microwave, along with a bar sink are nice conveniences. Towels were available poolside. The beds were very comfortable. I do not like super firm beds, and these were just right. There are two computers with printers available 24 hours a day.
The breakfast was typical of what you see in chain buffet breakfasts. While nothing special, It is perfectly adequate for most people: oatmeal with a selection of toppings, cold cereals, bagels, croissants, toast, sliced meats and cheeses during the week, make your own waffles on the weekends, and pork or vegetarian sausage. They did offer scrambled eggs but they were the reconstituted powdered eggs. Trust me when I say steer clear of those. The coffee and juices were very good. I was disappointed that they discontinued 24 hour coffee service in the lobby as the coffee provided for the in-room brewers was complete swill. Better to grab a to-go cup in the morning and pop it into the fridge to zap in the microwave later. I know, I know, not the best solution but you'll thank me if you try the in-room coffee just once.
I had considered staying at one of the other mid-range chains along Hwy 29, but after choosing Spring Hill I was glad I hadn't. The other properties did not really offer convenience to restaurants or shopping, they were simply along the main highway but still required driving anywhere you had to go.
Overall, this is an attractive property offering excellent service at a reasonable price. Can you find swankier places in Napa Valley? Of course, but if you don't need spa services or ritzy restaurants, I highly recommend Spring Hill Suites.

Room Tip: While facing the parking lot isn't pretty, it is quieter.

Felt like a really new property. Rooms are all suites, very large. Pool and hot tub great. Adequate exercise room. Free breakfast had lots of offerings. Lots of outdoor seating for finishing up that LAST bottle of wine... only thing to consider is distance from everything you will want to visit. It is south of town and not walkable to anything. Consider that, but otherwise, GREAT STAY! We had a $179 AAA rate which was quite a good deal!
