Set in a 50's theme-type diner, Richies is an attractive, casual place, bright and festive. They cater to holiday themes too, such as the 4th of July, you'll see lots of stars and stripes everywhere. Like anyplace, it depends on what you like to eat and what you order. I have had somethings that are ok but not exceptional, and other things that we really go back for. Our favorites are their steaks, done outside in a grill along w/ribs. Their split pea soup, which is thick and delicious. Linda's lemon pie is a favorite, a bit different from traditional lemon meringue, but yum.
Breakfasts specials are just right, in amount and price. What the kiddos like best (me too, but don't splurge often) is their plentiful fresh blended milkshakes, especially the fresh strawberry, and they always serve you the overflow in a stainless steel glass alongside. The root beer float is a nostalgic fave as well. Try it, you'll be back.
